Heater and ac not blowing at all
The first thing i would check is the heater blower motor for power. If the blower motor has power then pull and wiggle on the blower motor resistors pigtail or connector but make sure the heater and fan motor and the ignition switch are turn on so you can here if the motor comes on. A lot of times these blower motor resistors get hot enough to melt the connector causing it to loose its connection.

My 8.1 liter gmc 2500 just quit running
Hello
The
engine and the automatic transmission in this vehicle are computer
controlled and in most cases when a fault occurs a fault code is
stored in the memory of the computer control module. There are
exception to this, such as the Mass Airflow Meter and fuel pressure
problems. What must be done is to have all the basic testing done
such as a scan of the system for fault codes as well as a check with
a live data scanner tool for engine functions that are not within
range of normal, a trained technician is required to know what is
correct and what isn't, then based on careful diagnostics done from
a factory repair manual the correct part is replaced or the wiring
repaired or the computer replaced (known as the PCM), which is very
rarely the problem. Other basic checks must be done as well such as
mechanical problems with the engine as well as engine state of tune
and mileage on the engine. The transmission can have mechanical
issues as well such as no gear engagement at all or a failed pump or
other pressure related problems.
Relay to compressor
The owners manual should contain this information. If it does not, then get a service manual from an autoparts store. Relay itself should be in the engine compartment in a fuse/relay box. The relay may be a dealer only item as they generally do not go bad. If the problem is that the compressor does not engage the clutch on the pulley, that can also be caused by the senors in the system. Most usually this means that there is little or no Freon in the system. You can pick up an AC charging kit at any autoparts store. If it is empty, it most likely means there is a leak. Make sure your put in oil if it is empty. Autoparts stores will also have leak finders to help trace / find where the leak is occurring.Best of luck,Jim
