high voltage ignition coil problem, or ignition wire loosen.

any number of things could have happened. as long as oil and water good,factory fault. but they will argue that you did something wrong.had this happen once with dealership in Charleston sc.would not honor warranty because I was not a certified mechanic. took apart and found main bearing had spun. last crate motor for me.at least if I build it I know whos fault it is.
I have a 1963 Chevy stepside with a 327 engin, after reaching running temperature, it wont start
(1)Remove the air cleaner, looking down the primary throttle bore (front) move the throttle at the carburetor. Did you see fuel spray? if so its not a fuel related issue.
(2)Next, check your battery cables. High resistance in a cable (corrosion) will get worse with heat. Heat increases resistance. You may want to replace them depending how old they are. You need to check for condition and security of how they are connected ( good tight, clean connections). Sometimes its difficult to spot corrosion with the plastic insulation on top of the cable. Corrosion is usually at the ends where the bare wire is exposed.
(3) May have a bad starter. My old Ford would crank slow when hot. Found bad cables, but eventually had to replace starter too. Works great now.
Gas sputtering
there is a vacume control on the trany which when it leaks causes engine to run bad and not to shift properly-its about the size of a small coffee can and it should be on the right side of the trany-Denny
Clicking noise coming from under
You have a blend door motor that bad. The clicking noise is probably the motor turing and grinding the gears...Prob should take too a shop for a diag to be sure...Some of them things are pretty hard to get to
