Broken shift linkage or cable

Is the ac compressor clutch and pulley turning ?

Check coolant levels, tap lightly with hammer on thermostat housing, maybe stuck or replace thermostat depending on miles could be waterpump, or needs flushed

Sounds like starter is gone

This is a minor glitch with the vehicle production. Many purchasers have noted this issue...it requires a small correction to wiring...either DIY with a chevy automechanics manual or take it in for minor servicing to fix this minor deficit. Or keep replacing fuses...annoying.

Do you mean, Head gasket gone? Have you determined this yourself? Have you had a knowledgeable person confirm this in which case its a job for a good DIY mechanic or it will have to go into the shop. If it truly has gone and you continued to drive then its likely the head has suffered terminal damage. Modern engines are complex beasts that need trained help. Get some of that help to determine the fault and the cause. Why did it go in the first place? Have you done your underhood drivers tasks , water, oil, etc.

check for power at the starter with a test light. you should have power on the large wire all the time, check the small wire with someone trying to start the car you should have power on this wire only when trying to start it. if you do then you can try to tap the starter while someone is trying to start the car, if it starts then you have a bad starter and it will have to be replaced. first make sure your battery is in good shape and fully charged.
