My 1996 Chevy Suburban is experiencing low, intermittent noise and vibration that can be felt through the steering wheel and seats. This only occurs at 50 to 55mph and not constant like an unbalanced

possible wheel bearing at fault. if it heard/felt more when turning or swerving and is a growling type noise, more than likley is. possible bad tire shouldnt be over looked. is abs light on? most often when wheel bearing is bad a speed sensor ( within wheel bearing ) will go open, setting abs light. vehicle needs to be ran on a hoist to try and duplicate noise/vibration.

Vacuum hose heater line

If the heater door controls are vacuum operated, you will have a hose from the engine enter the firewall and go to the back of the heater controls, where it enters a connector with several hoses going to places on the heater case where they work the doors by actuators-diaphragms that retract with vacuum applied causing doors to open or close. Begin with ensuring the vacuum hose from the engine has vacuum at the back of the heater controls with engine running-just pull off the right hose and check for vacuum-the hoses may be color coded to help you. If you have vacuum there, reconnect that hose and move to the actuators on the heater case, check if vacuum signal is routed there. Check the actuators for proper operation-sometimes they fail. And sometimes things that fall into vents get caught in the doors and jam up. Good luck, hope you find the problem.

Can cd player laser be cleaned

try a regular cd cleaner like you would use at home, it works the same way. Those GM stereos have a lot of problems, if you care to keep it and cleaning it doesn't work, there are places around that can repair it or you can get a used one at your local salvage yard

Can the laser in cd player be cleaned or repaired?

There are many different types of CD lens cleaners on the market. Get the best you can afford and try it. If a heavy smoker owned the truck before you, it could have a film on the lens. It might remove it, it might not. The lens can be cleaned with denatured alcohol but, if you don't get all the residue or film off, or scratch the lens or get the head back to the proper start position, it still won't work. Either way, you will have a good cleaner for your home electronics.

Have a 2004 Chevy s10 ZR-2. When you turn truck

This is actually a timed circuit but I don't have the exact location of the relay that controls it. Normally it would be a relay located on or near the interior fuse panel or one in the power distribution box under the hood. It should actually only keep the power on for about 5 min and is meant to save fuel and keep you from running your battery down at the same time. Now as far as what could be the problem, I would look at the relay and the door dome light activators. If one of those is shorted then it will short that as well. They control the power to the dome light also if the light switch is locked in the always on position or always off, controlling the dimming of the dash lights, it will effect the working of that circuit.

How do you get the 02 sensors out?

Unplug them and then use an open end wrench and they just come off like a bolt would. You might want to spray some penetrating fluid or wd40 to make it easier

2004 chevy s10 push button

First try disconnecting the battery for about 10 minutes. This will reset all of your electrical systems and perhaps fix the issue.
If this doesn't work then check the 4 wheel drive transfer case electronic module in the right kick panel on the passenger side for corrosoion. If any posts are broken are burnt they will need to be replaced.

CHECK ENG INE LITE STAYS

Check the harness. There should be 5 volts at one lead and ground at the other. I find that the wire at the plug will break or not have a good connection where the wire touches the lead inside the plug. Also when your checking the plug and if it has the voltage and ground, wiggle it and see if you lose one. And it is always possible that you purchased a bad sensor. this happens.

My 4x4 won't engage in

The Lo is working properly by requiring to put it in neutral but are you sure the front wheels spin? I would first check the 4wd actuator on the front diff & make sure thats working. You will need 2 people for this. One laying under the diff & watching/listening and the other pushing the buttons
