Likely you are talking about the harmonic balancer.
The bolt turns counter clockwise and is generally removed using an air gun. There is another way to do that too but it is a bit dangerous. Using a solid breaker bar (one without jointed end) you can brace the end against the ground with the socket installed on the crank bolt (I actually have a pipe driven into the ground outside just for doing this...I just slide the bar into the pipe and keep it form dropping by using a vise grip on the handle). Once the socket is on the bolt, crank the engine over using the starter, the engine will force the bolt to back out.
After you get the belt installed, tighten it as much as you can by hand and ask a shop to just give it a final tightening with an air gun.
If the socket slips the bar can fly up so be very careful and don't stand where it can hit you!
Corsa will not start
Since you have everything that's needed to run, check the order of your spark plug wires.
Coolent leaking from rear of
You could have a leak coming from the intake or even the heads. Before digging into those difficult items, I'd check all of your freeze plugs for damage/wear/rust/leaks.
Ac low pressure switch
coolant has nothing to do with the ac system
coolant goes in a radiator
gas goes in the ac system and should be only installed by an accredited ac specialist shop using the correct equipment
If you have to add gas then there is a leak in the system
second point , when you turn on the ac compressor , and start to add gas ,when the gas pressure is sufficient then the ac compressor will switch on
Best to have the specialist do the job for you
I have a 1996 chevy Corsica with a code PO300.I have tried many repairs and still cannot repair this code
code p0300 refers to random/multiple cylinder/s ---misfire detected=== causes spark plug/s--HT lead/s--injector/s---ignition coil/s--low compression --wiring
Seeing as you have covered all the electrics, now concentrate on the injectors and fuel pressures
If you will do all injectors and the fuel pressure is where it is supposed to be ( pressure test) then you will have covered all bases
Low compression will be in the one cylinder only ans will remain in that cylinder regardless of injector or plug changes
I would leave that to the last resort as if it is random, it may be a loose valve seat insert that moves randomly causing a compression problem
Evap error code. how to fix and where can i get
Basic system is in diagram below. If your code is a leak code, you need to check the gas cap for a good seal and then run down all of the hoses to check for leaks. If your trouble code is a purge solenoid malfunction, replace the purge valve. The EVAP canister is usually mounted in the front corner engine compartment or behind the rear wheel liner. The purge valave will be somewhere between the cannister and the engine along one of the hoses from the cannister. If you can give us the specific code, we can narrow this down a bit for you. Let me know if you have questions.
How do i change carbon air flow unit
If you mean the charcoal canister that removes excess vapours from the fuel system, open the fuel filler cap to relieve any pressure then simply remove the vacuum lines from the old canister, undo the mount and replace
