I have the same thing .It too about 2 months to find one. all the junk yards got rid of these long time ago. I kept looking on ebay and got one 35.00 . thought it would solve the battery drain trouble but it did not but I burnt the old one out testing it. god luck

Firing order is 123456
Looking at the motor............Coil packs will be to the rear, Starting from the left side it will be.
#1 will be cylinder 5&2
#2 will be cylinder 3&6
#3 will be cylinder 4&1

looking at motor it will be as following #1 # 3 #5

#2 #4 # 6

You probably need a new or used transmission. It would be too expensive to rebuild the one you have. It would be over $1,000, plus the labor of removing and replacing the transaxle. A used transmission with even a short warranty would cost a few hundred dollars. So, a much cheaper route than a rebuild.

My info for engine oil and filter change, 4.5 quarts. You could put in about 4 quarts, start the engine let oil circulate, kill the engine, let the oil settle for a bit, check oil level on dipstick. Add oil to the full mark on dipstick, hopefully the dipstick is correct.I looked at info on chevy Corsica.

Not sure what you mean. Most cars do not have a fuel drain.

Are you talking about valve timing? Dis ignition timing isn't adjustable. As far as valve timing I looked at info for 3.1L, Your engine size wasn't listed.

Follow the top hose from the radiator to under the throttle body. I remove the throttle body for access.

This is normal. When the engine is up to temperature, the thermostat open and closes to keep the temperature in range, The needle will move.

Best bet is to call your local GM dealer. He will need your Vehicle Identification number. I've never heard of this failure on any of the GM recalls but it is worth a try.... Good Luck.

I would first put lots of penetrate oil down the key and grab it with vice grips and keep pulling and pushing until it comes out. If not. the cheaper option is to buy one with a key from the scrap yard

This has happened on a lot of cars,and it tends to go out after a few days.If not then one of the connects to the wheel is either loose,making bad connection or broken. You could try and buy a used on e-bay and replace it with yours one at a time until light goes out.But would defo check first to see if one has loose connections. LUCK

No spark at points or plugs.

When you take the card ( cover ) off door, you should see a runner for a wheel which pushes window up.The glass sits in a grove on one of these runners, and may either have come out on one side,or one end could be broken off.Most times it will be welded on,but l have on occasion managed to self tap a screw into the upright runner.It could be the upright that has broken away from door at some point.It can be self tapped if you are careful,at the bottom from the inner door side. I have also seen it where a piece of wood was wedged at the bottom of the inside,between upright and end of door. You must get cover off first to find out. LUCK

Either wrong plug,threads worn out if you are very lucky,but suspect been overtightened thread gone in head.So itthe garage you need,they should rethread for not to much.It is done with a tap and die set,which you could buy,but being where it is you could not stop metal going into engine. LUCL
