Circuitry responsible for idle speed needs to be adjusted to lower the rpm.

The diagram is for fuel injectors, the top wire is voltage, goes hot with the key on, any voltage? The bottom wire from injector is ground, controlled by computer. If no ground have to check for rpm signal. Engine cranking, you have spark at the plugs and proper fuel pressure?

Take the old throttle body, tip it up so you can see the circle flap that controls air flow, if it's black and dirty, pick up a can of brake cleaner and a toothbrush and spray the brake clean inside onto the flap and use the toothbrush to clean away all the gunk. This will prevent it from sticking, and possibly get your money back for the throttle body you purchased.

Firing order is 1-2-3-4-5-6 , engine numbering is 1-3-5 towards the back and up front is 2-4-6, coil numbering from left to right is 1-4, 6-3, 2-5. This is for your year of engine I hope this helps you!

You said you changed the coil pack and the wires but didn't mention the plugs. Try moving one of the plugs to a different cylinder and see if the miss follows it. It could also be the ignition module. (the thing the coil packs mount to.)

Use straight 30 weight or sae 30 10 30 is ok but thicker oil for older cars

you have four options

1. you can break a window
2. you can buy a lockout kit, tool #108 is the gm tool and it will go under the window and grab the lock button and slide it to the unlock position.


3. Call a towing service or a lock smith to have them perform a lockout service.

Most cars do not have a fuse for the ignition switch itself. Power goes directly from the battery to the switch. Everything after the switch is fused. It might have what is called a fusible link which is a pc of wire that melts off if the current draw is too high. Try to find a wiring diagram for your car on line and it will tell you if it has a fusible link

there is no fuse for ignition it's a fusible link ..it's a wire that is calibrated to melt Under overload or short hope it helps
