sounds as if your transfer case is gonna have to be inspected via inspection port for a worn or bent "finger" this is the thing that moves gears on shaft when pushed by 2wd/4wd handle/solinoid or a worn or broken pin "the thing gears slide back n forth on" this usually occurs after the vehicle has recieved a hard Jolt as in a minor fender bender , or your out crushing rocks on the trails all day and might have been just a little too hard on it on that last hill MAybe ? they just usually don\'t break or bend without a reason known to driver

the ac clutch control is normally the thermostat switch . It is located near the evaporator inside the car and has a small tube attached to the evaporator coils . It is normally electric so the removal of the thermostat should not affect the gas level

Most likely a failed fuel pump , to verify, hook up a fuel pressure gauge and turn key on. if no pressure, turn key off then check for signal at pump with key on (2 second signal)

check the filter. change the filter and use synthetic fluid.There should be a vacuum tube on the pass side of the trans. it could be either disconnected or broken. when the pan and filter are down see if there is a heavy spring in one of the corners. if it is the casing is broken then it won't allow fluid to travel to transmission.

Which engine ?? The 6.6 is a diesel, the 6.0 and 8.1 engines are gas. The gas engines use a pump in the tank, I think the diesel uses one in the tank and another on the frame.

There should be two in the front and two just a little ways back from there.

it has nothing to do with vacuum there is a electric motor on your transfer case you will have to check the connector and see if it may be loose if it is not get a test light and back probe the plug get your wife to switch it into 4wd and test the circuit and see if it energizing if it is and it isnt shifting its your shift motor replaceit if it is not energizing its a relay,fuse,circuit breaker or bad wire

couple things is it when you turn them on or when u open door if when u trn them on the switch could b bad or faulty wire connection if when you open door the little door button closest to front fender could b sticky I would try spaying with wd40 see if that helps

try looking at the switch control.. it may have bad spots on it..

I think there is a seperate fuse for the high speed fan, it may also be a bad switch
