THE REAR DRIVER SIDE AIR SHOCK IS LEAKING OIL. WHAT SHOULD BE DONE? CAN IT BE REPAIRED OR DOES IT NEED TO BE REPLACED? IF IT NEEDS TO BE REPLACED, DO YOU NEED TO REPLACE BOTH REAR SHOCKS OR JUST THE LEAKING ONE? HOW DO I REPAIR OR REPLACE THE SHOCK?
you could replace the one shock but do you know why it is leaking oil? Typically unless there was something traumatic to happen to one of the rear shocks, then if one is going you can almost be the other one will go soon. I ended up having too many problems with the air ride suspensions. If you haven't yet, look into conversion kits as something to consider for down the road if nothing else. www.strutmasters.com has a great kit that is made in America and comes with a lifetime warranty. They have a good reputation and track record and can help you save some money and find the permanent solution if anything else goes wrong.

only the drivers electric power window, mirror, and door lock lock switch will work. Passenger window ,mirror and rear windows will not work from the master switch or each door switch? Tested all motors there all good. Thank you for any help
I had this problem where only the drivers door power equipment works.
It is caused by a splice under the driver's seat. Spice #S302 where the
input from the drivers door module to the other door modules connects.
It is one of those cheap *** splice that should be outlawed. Moisture
gets in it and corrodes. Cut back the wires till you get the good stuff
and redo it the right way.
Splice S302 can be found under the carpet about six inches before where
the wires go up to the drivers seat. It is in a plastic wrap and tape.
I believe the wires for the window are brown and white.

I found the positive for jumping my car but where the heck is the negative at??? Lost the owner's manual recently oops!
You're going to want to connect it (the ground) to a clean non-painted metal area such as a bolt head. That should work, just remember to connect the ground first then the positive.

I have a 2001 Pontiac Bonneville. I can't figure out where my trunk is leaking but the trunk mat is all wet and the wheel well for my spare tire has about an inch of water in it. Any ideas where it is leaking or how to fix it?
same problem happened to my 2005 bonneville. inside the trunk and behind the carpet covering the wheel wells there are two water drain tubes. these tubes run down the inside of the "c" pillar and drain the water from the sunroof. they make a 90 degree bend at the bottom back of the wheel well(inside the trunk) and fit inside a round rubber tube/grommet at both of the rear wheel wells that lets the water drain outside.either the plastic 90 degree tube has come out of the rubber tube/grommet or the drain tube could be plugged up with debris. also make sure the two round rubber tube/grommets are installed correctly and seal the hole going through the trunk to the outside of each wheel well. this is of course only for those bonnevilles that have a factory sun/moon roof.

where is the fuse panel on 2002 poniac bonneville
there are two, one is under the hood on the passenger side, the other is underneath the rear seat. To remove the seat, simply pull it upwards from the front of the seat.

2002 pontiac bonneville transmission jerks or bumps when shifting, however not all the time. Can go one or two days without doing it or once it starts if you stop and turn off the engine and start the car again it may be ok for a while and then starts again. I had the transmission flushed but it did not help
Had the same exact type of problem. Sometimes the transmission would **** or jump when the car shifted gears and sometimes it would not. Drained the transmission fluid and replaced the filter. Did not fix the problem.
Here is what fixed my problem. I replaced the Mass Air Flow Sensor. It cost about $150.00. From what I was able to find out the mass air flow sensor is tied into the PCM module that tells the car when to shift.
Hope this if helpful.

Occassionally my 2002 Pontiac Bonneville will not start. (about one out of 10-15 starting attempts) It does not throw a fault code and the fuel pressure is in the normal range. It turns over fine but acts as if it is not getting fuel or the electronics are not letting the fuel ignite. The problem normally happens when the car is shut off and then restarted within 15 minutes. Letting it sit for an hour before restarting has always "cured" the problem. Also, occassionally while driving it will "baulk" momentarily. The fuel filter has been replaced. Any advice on this problem is apprediated.
I know this i s a late response. But I had a bonneville that it turned out to be the control module? I went to a junk yard and got one to replace mine and the it all worked good again.
