Hi, yes it will have a chip key. Can it be bypsassed? Not very easily. Youll have to call a locksmith to reprogram it with a new key. Hope that helps.

you have 2 different problems security light is most likley the ignition lock cylinder has a pickup inside and wires run down the column they always break up near cylinder, the misfire could be alot of things but check plugs,wires,and coil packs first
