How do i change the spark plugs in a 2003 chevy malibu?
On this model it has a 3.1 liter v-6 the coil pack is near the firewall and coil pairing (firing order) 1-4,2-5,3-6 the front cylinders are the easy to replace that 2,4,6 and the rears are 1,3,5 starting from the fan belt . suggest using your phone to take several pictures so you do not get the wires mixed up. most of the wires have a metal housing surrounding the plug boot this is to be installed on the new wires. as engines heat up and cool down this wires are like welded to the spark plug. so pulling and twisting the ends is normal (of coarse swearing is involved also) After replacing the spark plugs remember to put a silicone grease inside the spark plug boot for easier removal next time you decide to change the spark plugs
My 2003 chevy malibu is overheating, and the heat doesnt come on inside. whats wrong with it? i had someone check it and they said it could be my thermostat, water pump or something about my radiator.
What your were told may be the case
You also could have a bad head gasket & major
repair, you suggest you can not do
No quick fixes & no guessing, as you want us to do
You need to leave a vehicle at a shop, until they
do the proper testing & actually find the problems
& be prepared to pay for diagnostic time
A long list of things will not help, if you do not work on
you own vehicles & I would never suggest you take a
guess from a source like you went to or a web site,
even if the guessing happened to be correct
Have to find a problem through proper testing
You only want the best most skill folks working on
your products. Stay away from the franchise places
Gender plays no role there
You never spend money on what is not needed,
if you find a good shop that has been there for decades
The shop has to know what your expectations are & you need
to be there during part of the testing & know what is taking place
Have the shop prove out the testing & problems to you
Repairs are only made & you only part with money on your terms
& every aspect of your dealings should be in writing, before they
even approach your vehicle. Your car, your in charge, then no stereo
typing or concerns
Engine stalls
It could be your throttle position sensor. I had the opposite problem, idle was to high, changed sensor and problem was fixed.

How to you disconnect and remove the brake switch
Wiring on electrical parts are usually push-on connectors. I suggest getting the part first from the auto parts store and ask then about installment information. Once you see the new part alone you will understand how it gets installed. The auto part people usually have the info you seek. You should also search for videos or pictures on this replacement.
Oil light takes a while to go out
My first guess is that the oil pump is wearing out and takes longer to get up to pressure. It can also be the oil pressure sensor. As long as the pressure eventually builds up you "should" be OK. Does the light go out quicker after an oil change? Speak with your mechanic about it. Also do some web searching on this problem to see if it common or a routine part to repair. Check for recalls also.
