White smoke usually means oil in the mixture somewhere. Could be a head gasket issue. I'd see a local mechanic.

Your "check engine" light is an emission light. Oil is fine. You have to find the code to check whats wrong. Usually an engine light is just a tiny problem, but in other cases it could be anything from a sensor, to a bad cat converter. With a check engine light on a vehicle will not pass smog tests. You can turn it off by unhooking your pos side to the battery for about 3 min. Then you will have to drive it 30 miles non stop for the computer to put the code back in and the light will come back on

the lug pattern should be 5x100mm, you having the loaded malibu it could be the 5x125mm. if you still have the factory aluminum wheels on there then you can either take one off and look on the back of the wheel you will have to look closely it will tell you though, or you can go to www. tirerack.com there website will navigate you through and give you the proper size. hope this helps. sorry not more specific.

Sounds like you didn't put the pushrods back in the proper locations. There are two different lengths in this engine and you may have one backwards

there are three fuse's for the ( pcm ) powertrain control module ! engine brain ! two are in the under hood fuse/relay junction block. it is marked pcm / batt. fuse.10 amp. the other is pcm / ign fuse 10 amp. and then there is one in the let hand instrument panel fuse box. open the driver door at the end of the dash pull off end panel, fuse box behind there. fuse is marked pcm / acc 10amp . now what is the problem your having ? i can help !

Check your fuses, your main power source has failed somewhere. Sounds like it is grounding out. Retake your foot steps and see where you hooked up all your wires. Also check your fuel pump pressure and check your spark. Make sure it is strong. For you to have lost all power, I would check all my fusible links all the way to the starter.

Hi take a six point socket that is smaller than the bolt and a extension and drive the socket on the bolt becarefull not to break the bolt off in the head stripping the head of the bolt sound to me like the bolt is frozen so becareful spray it with w-d 40 before you drive the socket on . Good luck

If engine soon light still on then you have code in PCM or you have to erase code there is no reset for the light hope it help

It should be a numerical code. Just punch it in on the radio using the programmed station buttons. It won't give you any indication that you're entering the code, but when you put it in, the radio will 'unlock'

From the engine to the body? Or from the battery to the body? Assentially, when the battery is connected, the whole car is a ground strap. If you are replacing the negative battery terminal, then run it to the nearest piece of metal, with the shortest amount of ground strapping.

Is your security light on? it might be that... I had a buick that had the same issue.. I looked all over even to it to a shop.. I did find this site that has a module to fix it

the pump itself is not that expensive. The issue is the labor and the process. The fluid should be changed, the belt and the pump replaced. AT a shop this can be about 300 in labor plus the cost of parts. What is the problem that you are having?
