Do pickups with throttle body have a regulator?
yes, anything with a fuel pump in the tank will have a pressure regulator. follow the fuel line back from throttle body and you should find it near the back of the intake near the firewall.
Steering wheel off center
Your old unit was worn. After getting it aligned with the old arm and then properly replacing it, its installed slightly off center. Time for an alignment. I'd have it done anyways. Always have after replacing a major component. Good luck!
Fuel pump runs all the time
pull the fuel pump relay and see if it stops. If it does replace the relay with another relay with the same part number in the relay box. If the pump stays off than the relay was bad and needs to be replaced. if the pump continues to run with out the relay than the power supply to the pump is shorted to power. you will need to dig into the harness to find it. if the pump stops with the relay out and starts again with the swapped relay let me know and i'll get you some more info I’m happy to assist further over the phone at
