1997 Chevy Silverado will not start replaced fuel pump also replaced spider injectors. Call shut down while driving

Does the engine have spark to the spark plugs? Is there 12 volts to the coil and is the coil being triggered on the ground side? Check to see if the coil is sending spark to the distributor. Several more things to check that will not let the truck start. Check these and get back with me and I will help you more if needed. Good luck.

Does the oil filter line for a 1997 Chevrolet truck have an over ring?

Very common place for a leak, and yes there is a repair kit which includes all o-rings and gaskets needed. Ask parts store.

Bought a used knuckle should there be any play at the bearing has a little not a lot

I assume this is the wheel bearing and if it is, I would say no but if it is the cv joint there is going to be a little play which would be allowable.

Taking oil pan off my 1997 model chevy with a 4.3 vortec motor

You have to remove both engine mount bolts, then jack the engine up until it starts lifting the truck. The pan still will not come out until you pry it out. Be careful. You will also have to pry it back into place. If it is four wheel drive, remove the front differential first.

How do I figure out why the A/C compressor on my 1997 Chevy truck ( 1500 / 5.7 engine) takes in the freon then when the unit kicks on pushes it back out?

Seems like a blockage to me. Check the receiver dryer or the expansion valve. Check for obvious pipe damage

Does a 1997 k3500 have a cabin filter?

Do you have an owners manual. If you do it will tell you where it is located if your vehicle is equipped with one. IF you don't have a manual, you can get them on line.

1997 conversion van was towed now it wont go in reverse

When you tow a vehicle -- a flat bed hauler -- is your best bet Next would be -- to use a wheel lift to raise the rear wheels or remove the drive shaft, so the trans does not have any internal parts moving Hard to say IF something was ruined or reverse was about to fail When reverse goes on a rear drive GM trans, your pretty much going to be taking it apart & rebuilding it,as reverse is the first parts into the case & the last out on disassembly

1998 chevy astrovan mil inspection failure

We had this same problem with a 1997 Z71. After putting 3 ignition switches in it in 6 months, We finally figured out that every time we used the 4 wheel Low side of transfer case the ignition would go out immediately. The electric motor that engaged the transfer case was bad & would short out ignition every time we used 4 wheel low. It was VERY expensive to repair. I fixed ignition one last time and got rid of it. Good Luck.
