If you only have one speed the resistor has failedYou don't have relays for every speed, if any at all

If check engine light is on ,remove battery cable, you have an electrical problem, maybe fuse?

From past experience I have taken a Dremel tool with a small drill bit carefully making two slices (one on each side of remaining coupler threads) then with a small sharp punch or chisel gently tap with hammer to remove remaining pieces in engine.

the resister is usually located in the air box above the passengers feet ,high indicates the resistor needs to be replaced

Has the feul filter ever been changed ? loss of fuel Pressure will cause problems similar to what you listed. I would need to know more about the truck to go further on this. Millage ? Honest maintenence record ? Way its driven ? By the way, hate saying this but, if the fuel filter has never been changed it could possibly put such a strain on the pump that when you change the filter the pump could possibly go out soon after from Exhaustion of it's new freedom. Weird but true. Not saying it "Will Happen" it is just common in this situation.

check the fuses if they are ok it maybe the computer

On those year models with the switch on the dash the switches are bad about going out but the actuator is located at the front passenger side on the transfer case if its a z71 drop.the skid plate on the front and its black about 4 inches long with a short couple of wires coming out the end of it to a plug. Disconnect the battery and then unplug it and take it out a short cressent wrench is best and then just put the new one in but don't over tighten

Sounds like your blower motor resister is bad,when going bad,it may not work or not work on all speeds,the motor will work or not,don't think it's motor.Resistor is located next to blower motor,2 screws hold it on,here's what it look's like and where blower motor is.Enlarge picture to see where resistor is.

have u checked into getting new sparkplugs, wires, coil/coil packs distributor. could even be a timing issue. id start at these things and c if it helps

If the Tires wont spin then it isnt locked in.
If it really is engaged like you think it is and they dont turn then something is broken in the differential. If that was the case then it should be makeing lots of noise.
Now it is very very common for the electro-mechanical device that engages the the 4wheel drive at the differential to go bad. If you look at the front differential you cant miss the 4 wheel drive actuator. It has a couple wires that come out and plug into the wiring harness.
Usually if this part fails I understand the 4wheel drive indicator lights wont come on? I could be wrong on that. My sub is 3 years older and that was the case with it.
