My 1992 chevy G20 van
It is probably the starter . It is becoming heat soaked. When starters get old, heat build up can cause starter motor and solenoids to stick. Once it cools down parts can unstick. Get a new starter. Have it load tested.
1992 Chevy G20 Van wont turn over.
Some people say "it won't turn over when they mean it cranks and won't start. If you turn the key and there's no noise, turn on the headlights to see if they are bright. If so, battery is probably o.k. If it won't crank, the problem is in the ignition switch, transmission safety switch, or the firewall connections. You have to check point to point.. If it cranks and won't start, It's either spark or fuel. More info needed.
How do i find location fuelpump relay
I had a G20 van a few years ago (honestly hated the thing but it wouldn't die). CHECK THE INERTIA SWITCH. 99% of the time, the inertia switch is the issue, not the relay.
As I recall, either the Chilton or Clymer aftermarket service manual has a fuel system breakout diagram showing the location. These manuals are available at most local libraries. I'd suggest that you make a small investment in buying an aftermarket repair manual, and you'll do yourself a great favor.
Loose steering column
You would need a book and the necessary tools to remove the steering wheel. There are bolts in the upper column yoke that probably need to be tightened up.
You can look for videos on youtube that talk about replacing the turn signal switch which also requires removing the steering wheel.
