Where is the fuse to the sunroof?
The main fuse block is located in the underside of the instrument
panel, in or behind the glove compartment. Remove the access cover in
the glove compartment to access the fuse block. Spare fuses and a fuse
puller should always be kept here. Various convenience connectors,
which snap-lock into the fuse block, add to the serviceability of this
unit.
You will find the fuse for the sunroof in thsi area.
Why 1992 Buick Regal instrument panel lights will not turn off
My thought, replacing the headlight switch may fix your problem? Then, I looked up the cost, tax and all 3 or 4 hundred bucks, whew, that is pricey. Maybe you can find one in a salvage yard that will work? With an interior dimmer, did you try turning it all the way down?
Also, there shows to be a panel fuse 5amp in your fuse box, pull the fuse, see if light goes out? At the least it won't run the battery down, then plug the fuse back in when needed.
I did think about using an on/off switch mounted somewhere convenient to control that lamp, that isn't the proper fix.
Starts and runs for a short distance, then dies. After a brief period, why does it start again?
Very likely your fuel filter. Sometimes trash will get in the filter. The trash (debris) will settle to the bottom when nothing is being sucked through the filter (the car is not running) so there is no obstruction in the line. When the car runs the gas gets sucked through and at some point pulls that debris into a position where it blocks the flow, thus no gas get through and the car dies. Try changing your fuel filter.
My breaks light stay on
Hi Chris....When you release the brake pedal, there is a switch underneath the brake pedal that disconnects the circuit to your brake lights causing your brake lights to switch off. Sometimes this brake light switch will go bad and need replacement. For the most part, replacing the brake light switch is very simple. Simply replace the brake light switch with a new one. If your brake light stays on after you turn your car off and you don't want to run your battery down, you may be able to get down underneath the brake pedal and manually pull up on the brake light switch to deactivate it until you can get it repaired. This method will only work if the brake light switch is just sticking.
I hope this helps FixYa!
