2003 VW Jetta Charging problem
problem is that the voltage regulators on the 1.8t which I am sure is the same on the TDI alternator....is that they may work fine when they are cold....but once they warm up is when they start acting up and causing problems. I assume is has to do with some resistor over heating. This is just a common problem noticed by most people over at VWvortex.com.
So you can take your alternator to get tested but if it is tested cold then well it may appear to be working ok. When in reality it is broken. Trust me...it is a cheap enough part and easy enough to fix to not just try it. Some can even change the regulator without taking the alternator out. If you have small enough hands I can see it being done.

hi your problem may be that there is some debri in the main jet in carb that will not let sufficient fuel thro for further accelleration also if this is the cause then carb cleaner will not clear it you will have to physically clear it ? another possiblity ? is the fuel pump/or lines may not be delivering the fuel on demand for more revs ? ie pump / or filter clogged ?
I cant find the drain on the radiator
to drain it just take the bottom radiator hose off turn your car on for like 20 seconds with it off keep an eye on the temp gauge and then turn it off
put the hose back on tight
then get coolant ready or water
start the car again then very quckley start putting what ever you want to use back in to the radiator
DO NOT PUT WATER OR ANYTHING IN TO A WARM MOTOR WITH OUT IT RUNNING AS IT WILL CRACK THE HEAD
IF USING A HOSE HAVE IT DOWN LOW SO IT DOSE NOT FILL TO QUICK
GO FOR A QUICK DRIVE CLOSE TO HOME TO CHECK THAT YOU HAVE THE HOSE ON TIGHT ENOUGH
DON'T BE AFFRAD TO GIVE IT SOME GAS AS THIS WILL MAKE A HIGHER WATER PRESSURE AND WILL TEST IF IT IS GOING TO COME OFF OR NOT IF YOU GET HOME THEN YOU ARE FINE IF YOUR MOTOR STARTS TO GET HOT DONT CONTINUE TO DRIVE IT CHECK THE HOSE AND FIX IT WHERE YOU ARE CARRY WATER AND ALL THE TOOLS YOU NEED

Sometimes cant idle
i will recomend you to clean the carburetor with carburetor cleaner, just buy some at auto parts remove the hose on top on carburetor and keep the rpm arrownd 2500 and keep ading the cleaner to the inside of carburetor, if you add too much it might backfire just keep you face away from the carburetor good luck and let me know

there is many autoparts selling parts for import cars unfortunatelly i'm not familiar with your town but you can go to the dealer or just have your mechanic order one for you,
they have a very good relation with parts supliers,
or i can eve get one for you if this not violates this page polizy
any way, you should not have any problem getting it, also you can call one of those mobile locksmith guys and ask them where to get it or have them get it for you, good luck

My 2002 VW Jetta VR6 GLX 2.8 DOC is giving me a P1151 code. I am trying to see what will cause the problem?
Fuel Air sensor is the most likely cause, but can be other things.
