No Low beam head lights and no turn signals or hazard lights. Already changed the multi function switch. What to look for next?

When you had the wiring loose for multifunction switch, if possible, knowing what color wire did what, using wiring diagram, I believe you could have used jumper wire to bypass multifunction switch to see if this or that system would work, if it doesn't, the multifunction switch probably wasn't the problem. On older vehicles it was probably easier to do something like that. Could be issue with wiring in steering column or clock spring, where applicable.Your low beam from dimmer switch goes through drl relay, with relay not energized. At the low beam head lamp, tan wire is voltage, black wire is ground.

What wears out on the door linkage, that the inside handle won't open the latch?

mostly when this happens the small plastic clip that holds the pull wire to the latch in position is broken and allows the wire to fall out. You will have to remove the door trim to get inside the door Mostly the clip is available from spare parts departments.

Leaky muffler type sound from engine when under a load

check for a leaking manifold gasket or cracked manifold. If it is a front wheel drive car there may be a flexible bit near the engine to allow the engine to move in the mounts . This bit of flexible exhaust is known to crack under the brading.

Why wont my 1998 gmc 3500 sierra turn over

Check for fuel by pouring small amount of clean gas down throttle body and crank engine over. if it starts and runs just for a few seconds you have a fuel delivery problem. If it still does not run after several attempts check for spark at spark plugs. that should get diagnosis started

Speedometer doesn't work

You might try an oil pressure sending unit, first making sure the connector and harness are okay. I'm not sure, but I think there is a VSS Sensor as well, or vehicle speed sensor. Check the connector and wiring. If its okay, try a sensor. Good luck, hope this helps.
