2006 GMC Yukon Denali XL Rear Hatch & Glass locks not working

Could be the latch mechanism for the door is sticking. You could try using some white grease on the latch and the contact where the latch hooks to. You can purchase the grease from most auto parts stores. You will not need to use alot. Just apply a small amount to the mechanisim and then work it in using the manual handle. Then open and close the door several times to feel the "action". Then apply a little more and repeat. This should loosen the latch and get it working again. Also make sure that none of the tension springs have come loose on the latch. And check the seal around the door and make sure it is not pinched and has a proper fit.

I just had one of my tire pressure monitor changed

when you replace the TPM sensor they have to be relearned
each sensor has it's own SIN# which is stored in the module
so if you replace it and not relearn it then it can not comunicate with the module
if you had this done at a dealer then take it back and they will relearn it
if you had this done at a non dearler shop then they
might not have the tool to do it
hope this helps

Rear heater does not work, just blows cold air.

First thing to do is check coolant level just in case it went down after unit started working properly again. If that's not the problem, get back to us.

Check engine light on 2004 GMC Yukon XL

Code po449 is the canister vent valve solenoid error. This is a common problem with these valves because they are under the truck in the rear by the spare tire and they get all the dirt and water and snow,if you live in an area where you get snow. You will find it on the canister under the vehicle by the spare tire.

I need to replace 2 of the tires on my leased

nope.
It is recommended though that your new tires, have a similar tread pattern and similar rubber compound as the tires you already have. Tires of different tread patterns and different compounds will act differently (corner, braking, wet traction, etc)

Concerning removing and replacing the

1) The climate control panel is actually a bunch of parts, every little part on it is sold separately (such as each switch) and has its own part number, so it would depend on what exactly is wrong. Any autoparts store or GM dealer could order the specific part that you need if you take the control into them and show them what part needs to be replaced on it.

2) The entire dashboard does not need to be removed, the climate control panel can be removed by itself

Let me know how this works out for you

Forward climate control system does

The control panel is bad and needs to be replaced. Did this just start all of a sudden? If so then panel is bad. If it was say, car accident or radio theft and wires ripped out then there is some sort of short that needs to be diagnossed.

Rear hach

The latch is "closed" but not hooked right.

You can tug the door/window "really hard" and it will open.
After it is unstuck and open, then "unlock" it with the remote... check the "hook/loop" .. it is probably loose. adjust it and tighten it.

It should work ok now.

Hope this helps!

2004 Yukon XL.Transmission stop pulling

Hi there,

First- if the check engine light is FLASHING then you CANNOT drive this car, this means that you have a severe misfire and are dumping raw fuel into the exhaust, this causes catalytic converter damage and leads to a VERY expensive repair. It sounds like your car most likely has a failed ignition coil, this causes a cylinder to misfire. You need to have this towed by your car repair center facility and have it properly diagnosed and repaired.

Hope this initial info helps
