did you check the 30 amp fuse in the engine compartment? if so make sure the rotor is good and turning while cranking.

if you keep blowing a fuse there's a good chance it's not a faulty part but a short in the main harness most likely under the dash where all the connectors tend to get brittle over time and short out constantly. also check the ecm connection there is a 60 pin type.

Remove the taillights and make sure the wires are free from the body. Open the fuel door & remove the fuel filler assembly from the body. Underneath there will be one or two grounding straps to remove and 4 -18mm bolts holding the body onto the frame, 2 in front, 2 in back. Just look around, you'll find it all. That should do it. Just use care when you raise the body to make sure nothing else is attached, especially if anything aftermarket may have been added. Easy job really.

Do you know the gear ratio? You also should tell us the engine size, auto or manual transmission, and which transmission. You can also take the VIN to a GMC dealer. They may beable to pull the build sheet and tell you what you need to know.

"Service brakes" usually comes on when the pads are getting low. You want to change the pads before you notice the brakes don't feel right. Could also be that the brake fluid is low. Definately get it checked ASAP, brakes are important and you want them in good shape. So you can stop.

try autozone library ,I looked and didn't know what motor you have 2wd 4wd lots of info missing autozone is free and no spam , look under emission codes

Turn the key to the the "run" position until you hear the pump running. Turn the key off and do this procedure two more times. This should be enough to prime the fuel system.

On the 302 engines the distributor is located on the front of the engine behind the air filter housing.

sounds like a blend door actuator, when does it click?temperature or changing air flow.

If you're sure of the fuse location and there isn't one replace the fuse. (The panel cover should tell you the amperage). If it still doesn't work, pay close attention to the headlights as you press the window switch, they should dim perceptibly, this means the switch is working. If you get to that point it's time to remove the door panel and check the motor itself..... Good luck.

Take both engine bolts out and jack up the front of engine with a v grooved block of wood under the harmonic balancer,,, it the only way,,,without taking the engine out of the truck, if it has a belt driven radiator fan the top part of the fan shroud will have to be removed to let the engine com up

color code is green =right flasher yellow= left flasher Brown = parking lights white or black = ground red = direct current there is a splice connector behind the rear bumper disconnect and retest same color. then plug the vehicule connector to see if vehicule lights work. hope it help

not very much info. 1/2 ton? 2wd? If it is a standard pickup there are "C" clips that hold the axles in. You will have to remove the 3rd member cover and remove the clip. This is after you have removed the wheel and brake drum. The axle will slide out and the bearing will remain in the axle housing.Messy job. Take it to your mechanic.

Might still be the switch. Start with the master switch on the drivers side.

Speed sensor probably going out.

The signal flasher. Maybe a bulb burned out.

You cant just unlock it. What do you mean? Might have to rebuild it.

You should be able to adjust them manually.
