i have searched online for good free site for auto repair and cant find one. I have found that local libaries often have chilt on auto repair manuls that have helped me in the past, some times your local parts store has the info you need or a book you can view or buy.

If you mean the tourqe for the mounting bolts that will be 90 foot poounds

Synchronizer faulty

Burnt Valve or other head work needed.

There should be a belt tensioner which requires a socket and a ratchet to pull tension off the belt by prying on this tensioner in the opposite direction.. Good Luck

The airbag light being on indicates that the airbag system has a fault and has been disabled by the control module, the most common cause is the rotating contact under the steering wheel, known to techs as the clock-spring contact. If you under take replacing it be careful to disarm the airbag or serious injury may result from unintentional airbag deployment.

with a manual tranny, the most likely cause for problems going into gear is the synchronizers, as long as it is just the synchros, a rebuild on bearings and synchros is not to terrible.

The head torquing sequence is as below:-

9....5....1....3....7
Front
10...6....2....4....8

Carry out the sequence at least three times, once at about half the torque value and then at least twice at the full value.

The choke wire plugs into the back of the alternator. Did you put the head back on with the engine at TDC? Have you checked the ignition timing?

how are you priming the system before installing the oil pump , you fill it with grease or vaseline That primes the pump so that when you start cranking it it is producing pressure to get pressure you need volume and there will be no way that you will get the volume required other than by the pump
