connect up the vacuum hose to the distributor . Check point gap for the miss. Use a timing light to check if the distributor shaft bushes are worn. The timing will wander if it is. Check the condenser and the coil .Check the distributor cap for cracks or carbon marks and that there is a carbon pin under the coil lead inside the cap
Low voltage
youre alt is internaly regulated so with it being new and youre battery is new follow youre wiers from youre alt to youre firewall making sure you dont have any bare wiers cuasing the system to have a week short and make sure all of youre conections from youre battery to youre starter and the alternator are cleane!
Brake peddel fade
when you replaced it with the used one, was the check valve removed at anytime, if so that would be the problem, the check valve holds the manufacturer pressurized vacuuum. but first re-bleed all four wheels, quite simply you may just have air in the lines

Some thing in the instrument panel has shorted out or the wire from the fuse to the panel., pulling to many amps. If you could do without the panel for two days you would find out if it's the panel or the wires before. Electrical problems are no fun. I'm into a Ford that I just got running (second day) And there are still problems. (stupid computers). For the wires a good place to start is behind the fuse panel
I have a 1988 k2500
1988 K2500 hundred was once plaque by the whole distributor reluctor itself this is the one where you florr it and it backfire through the intake, so you have to take out the disributor as a whole and replace it mind you mark the direction the rotor point to before you pull it out so it will be easy to put on again, you will need a timing light to set it correctly
