The inline fuel pump fuse on the passenger side firewall is good? Are you jumping it with 12 volts at the test lead or the fuse?

1999 Chevy Silverado...does park fine

Good Afternoon, your problem sounds like a common one that I run across often in the full size trucks with a little age if your description is correct. What it sounds like is that your shift-lock solenoid is not functioning properly. Under your steering column is a little black box with a rod going into it, and when it first started it did not take too long for it to finally go in gear and now has progressively got worse. For troubleshooting purposes disconnect the solenoid from the column by just popping it off the side and see if you can shift easier. That will eliminate that problem and all you have to do is simply replace that solenoid. Any other questions please feel free to ask, and I hope that helped your situation.

Wiring up an inline six cylinder chevrolet starter

Right - can do that - the instructions are going to be unit specific - depending on how much equipment you will be using.
You can even run two alternators as well.

Neutral safety switch on volvo automatic

The switch you looking for is under the center console where the shifter is. You have to take the console apart and look down in there, you will see the switch in question. Sometimes the screws holding the switch in place back out, causing the switch to come loose. You may not need to replace the switch at all.

Diagram of Igniton system 1987 gmc v1500 4x4

I own a shop, and think this; If you have a Chilton's Repair Manual, you can go to the back of the book, and locate the typical wiring diagram for most all GM vehicles. They are basically the same on all of them. I know the Haynes Manual has these in the back pages, so look there first. I have a feeling you have not got the neutral safety switch wired up. There should be a yellow wire that comes from the ignition switch that goes to this switch. The switch is located under the dash near the clutch linkage on a straight drive, and on the transmission for an automatic. There should be a purple wire that comes from this switch that goes to the starter solenoid. It should have power on it "only" when the ignition switch is turned to the start position, and the neutral safety/clutch start switch is activated. This switch may be out of adjustment, and not sending any power to the starter solenoid. This wire should hook on the terminal that is closest to the engine block. The other wire will have power on it all the time when the ignition switch is in the on position, and should hook to the (hold in winding) on the other side of the solenoid. You may be loosing power, or not have any power on the purple wire that activates the (pull in winding that is closest

Truck turns over but won't start 87 gmc 4x4

Well, if it was running prior to your replacing the plugs, then somewhere you went amiss. Check the firing order. If when you crank the engine over and it pops and backfires then you have a few plug wires mixed up. Other than that the other item to check would be the rotor button in side the cap. Is it lined up correctly or broken? Good luck.

The horn on my 2007

The horn is usually located in the front of the car, below the radiator, possibly hidden by a bumper, but it is definitely up front where it can be the most effective. There is usually a horn relay in the system as a horn draws a pretty heavy current. You might want to check that too.

Has vaccum leak or bad

if cam sensor is bad, it will use more fuel. if light is on check with a scanner to find problem code. sometimes check engine light does not come on. and also make sure air filter is clean, this will cause the engine to burn more fuel because it can not get enough of air through air filter. check filter first.
