sounds more like a body control module going bad

it is on the frame rail on the drivers side about the middle of the drivers door

that would be your u joints. probably front

Replace the ignition switch

The ECM is near the fuse box. It will be between the head lights and the fuse box and its under the radiator hose IIRC. Give some more details of the problem.

I would suggest checking the water sensor in the bottom of the fuel filter. It's made of plastic and I've heard of them developing small cracks.

take it off the roof. Clean the surface and reinstall.
