The pulley is pressed on and you need a tool to pull it off. There are special tools for power steering pump pullies. You will notice the pulley has a groove in the snout. The tool slides over and grabs 3/4 of that groove and the has a bolt that works against the pumps shaft.
Intstalling is easy because sometimes the new pumps come with a long bolt, large washer and a nut. When pressing the pulley on, be sure to use some anti seeze or lightly grease the pumps shaft to the pulley does not gall.
A/c compressor on motor does
check to make sure high pressure switch in back of compressor is plugged up . also make sure low pressure switch on accumulator has good connection.
Idle goes up and down,
It sounds to me like you have a bad fuel filter. look in your owners manual to determine where it is. It could also be your fuel pump going out.

Overheating could be several problems, usually the thermostat at fault, maybe resolved by cleaning, may need changing.
But water seeping from into the passenger compartment could be a small hole in your heater matrix.
The way I'd go about it is flush the system out and replace the coolant also add something like "Radweld" or "Kseal" to your cooling system. Then give it a good run.
This should block any pin ***** holes you may have.
Its worth bearing in mind though, that if it doesn't work, you have to start all over again and of course you'll have lost on the coolant and radweld.
