Any sugestions on how to get my catalitic
You have to get it cherry with a torch and wiggle.
You could cut the pipe on a strait section and use a coupler.
If your just reusing the cat cut it close and air chisel out the rest then use a short tail pipe expander

have u checked the gear selecter hasnt moved under car

Ok, you got new 02 sensors, that is good, Now check timing, vacuum hoses for leaks, check for headgasket leak with compression test, Check or change fuel filter and plug wires. If fuel injected, try using injector cleaner and you can also remove one injector at a time to make sure it is not leaking or plugged. You can also test throttle position sensor and idle position sensor with an ohmmeter to see if they are good.
While cruising at 65mph if I accelerate slowly I
Could have a bad O2 sensor. When the sensors go bad the ecu goes to a default mode which in your vehicle might be a bit rich. By accelerating hard you are giving it more air thereby leaning out the mixture.

has the idle speed control valve been cleaned and the throttle valve as well? this is the most common cause of stalls like yours, sludge builds up in and on these two parts and restricts proper idle air flow and movement of the idle speed control air bypass valve, here is what u do to clean these parts, it is very easy and takes about 10 minutes.
, Get a can of intake cleaner from any local parts store, not carb spray, intake cleaner, it is made by a company called CRC, remove the air intake hose to the engine, hold the idle high so the engine won't stall, then spray the can of cleaner into the intake while keeping the engine running, use at least 1/2 the can, shut down the engine and disconnect the battery for 5 minutes, then restart and complete a number of mixed driving cycles, town, freeway, stop and go etc., after a few days the problem will go away as the system will relearn to the clean intake.
How do i remove the headliner board from gmc
You remove any of the trim that is contacting the headliner, remove light in the center, remove visors and any hooks that are there to hang things on ,Most of your trim has push in retainers handles and hooks, seat belts should have screws inthem.
My truck won't start and ineed to change the
Start by disconnecting the battery. This is important or you could loose fingers.
Underneath the engine, on the passengers side of the vehicle is where the starter is located. Sometimes the exhaust system can get in the way, if it's stock it will probably be ok. There will be two bolts that hold the starter in place. Keep them separate as one may be longer than the other. Be careful when removing the second bolt as the starter is kind of heavy and you don't want to have to take a trip to the dentist as well. Some starters also have a rear brace on them that goes from the starter to the block. This may or may not be there, I don't recall seeing them on the last one of these I worked on. There will be a solenoid bolted on the top of the starter. It's a smaller cylinder than the starter body itself. Leave that connected to the starter. Make a diagram of which wires went on which post here. There are 3-4 places for wires. There should be 1 - 2 3/8 inch posts and 2 1/4 inch posts. Like I said diagram where the wires go so you can get it hooked up again. Don't let the starter dangle by the wires, it's hard on them. Also there may or may not be some shims under the starter, between the starter and the engine block. Keep them if there are, you may need them. Carefully check all the dimensions of your new starter to make sure it will fit.
Truck will start but runs rich and rough. When
Was the distributer cap and rotor button replaced? If you have no check engine light on then it is likely you don't need a senser. When was the last time the fuel filter was replaced? Also you need to look at the vaccume line to see if they are craked or broke off where they join tubeing, without more info this is all i can offer, hope it helps[start with the cap and rotor button].
Fuel not getting to motor
Have a fuel pressure test done, also check fuel filter make sure not clog. If check engine light on run computer diag, if it has an MASS sensor could be bad, also get reading of TPS should have .50 volts at idle.

1. Ground terminal 7, Brown (418) of the Red Vehicle Control Module (VCM) connector and check current flow of solenoid to be approximately 1 amp.
2. If the amperage is too high, replace the solenoid.
3. If the amperage is too low, check for a wiring problem or high resistance in the circuit.
4. If the amperage is OK, most likely an internal transmission problem.
1. Clean the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor elements, road test, recheck.
2. Verify the Transmission Fluid Pressure (TFP) values in scan data while the engine is running and the transmission is in D4.
3. Should have the following from the TFP: OFF, ON, ON while in D4.
4. Check Input Speed Sensor (ISS) and Output Speed Sensor (OSS) values while in 3rd gear.
5. Engine RPM, ISS RPM and OSS RPM should match, with the Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) locked ON.
there is also a tsb for this same problem.
My truck runs fine at times but then it will bog
Hello there:
the way you are describing it it is sounding like the fuel filter is started to clog and might need to be replaced.
you may also want to look into a tune up i.e spark plugs and wires and rotor cap and air filter ect ect ok?
best regards michael
