Dodge stratus wont start battery works
I sort of had the same problem....
turned out the negative battery terminal clamp was too corroded and all I did was re-strip the wire and buy a new clamp.
could also be a starter.
I Have a 97 Ford Explorer XLT 4 door with power windows, the windows and wipers stop and start working at the same time, has anyone seenthis before?
what does that mean.
1: active window and wipers move , or reverse.
2: or i must turn on both to get either working??????

all wipers move front and rear.?
and all windows do this or just one?

and forgot to do the tests. and that meant you missed bad connections.

the FSM book covers this 100% read that. see those tests.
guessing works like 20% time? shot gun, 50%. leaving what?

the GEM controls both wipers and windows. so , my guess
bad GEM or the inputs to it are WRONG. (basic logic 101)
be more clear on what works, here, and dont. all windows and all wipers front and rear and what this means.

Where is starter located?
The starter is located under the exhaust manifold, it's not that difficult to remove if you know what you're doing.
disconnect the catalytic converter, remove the exhaust manifold, remove the engine/ trans. bracket, from there you can remove the starter.
Front bumper is Loose
go to your local auto part store and get the $5 clips. The attendant at the store should be able to help you match up the right kind and how to install them. Pretty self explanatory if you look at the other side though. Or you can pre-drill and add a screw or two to something that isn't crucial to your vehicles health.
Takes longer to start
Check Fuel Pressure with a gauge on the motor
Spark Plugs,Air Filter, Gas Filter--can't be more than 3 years in
the vehicle or you replace them
Clean the MAF Sensor
Replace the Front Oxygen Sensors at 100,000 miles
Check for a worn & jumped timing belt
Do a cylinder leak down test or at least compression,
to see if the valves leak
Back Probe the TPS Sensor & see if that is okey
Check EGR & PCV Systems for vacuum leaks
FIRST/ALWAYS--check for OBD Codes & Cylinder
