Automatic Transmission Speed Sensor failed

Have the fault codes read and replace faulty units.

Sounds like a stuck solenoid or valve. There is a product that you can find at any part retail store that helps with sticking valves. I would try that first.

Check to see that your battery is secured. See if you can wiggle it. Make sure all battery terminal connections are tight, and all ground wires.

It depends on the code; there are usually a bunch of them and not a single one says "sensor bad". the computer usually reports that the sensor is not acting as expected, but we mechanics need to know exactly how it is acting in order to locate the problem. a clogged converter could make the front sensor react slower, and that has its own code. if the car has a sensor behind the converter as well, then the computer monitors the effectiveness and response time of the converter itself and that would also have its own code...

Most of these v w have a plug you can unscrew and then there are those you may want to take to a service department and have them check and fill the transmission fluid because there are sometimes a certain procedure to follow when checking the transmission fluid depending on the vehicle.

Washer fluid is probably frozen, have you checked the fuse for the wipers? There should be an overload protection in case the blades stickHTH

fuel conditioner. dont be afraid to use quite a bit of it and keep ur fuel above half a tank when its that cold. it gels up in the fuel lines and blocks em.
