I just fell into the same situation. My interior driver's door handle just does nothing all of a sudden. I went on the Mazda Forum website and came away with at least a temporary fix.
The lock switch can be used to open the door from the inside by pushing it the opposite way it's pushed when locking the door. In other words, the rear portion of the lock switch needs to be depressed and the front portion needs to be pulled away from the door. It may be difficult to do with the trim piece around the lock still on. The trim piece can be removed by pulling the small plastic cap away from the base (it's on a plastic hinge) off and unscrewing the holding screw underneath it. Pull the handle away from the door and the trim piece will come right off.
I'm using that as a temporary solution now until I get a new/used door assembly.

Check fuel pressure. Quick test is to use fast start . but if you have been going at this a while, the plugs could be gas fouled.

Sounds like there is lots to fix,, and that the fix is urgently needed. The engine light warns there are issues with sensors that may affect fuel economy and, possibly, even the lifespan of the engine.....Modern cars have sensors and modules that transmit iformation via an on board diagnostics system so that the texhnician can tell what is wrong with it. Your car needs this service from what you describe. The information cannot be got any other way ...You should probably have this gone sooner rather than later

yes could very well be an exhaust leak.but that should be kinda loud and annoying..also u could have a slight whistling sound coming from ur air intake hose coming from air cleaner box to ur intake or throttle body or ur air inlet goin to the motor. when the motor is accelerated it would produce a high pitch sound like a whistling .hope this can help

This does not sound right at all. I have never heard of an EGR valve blowing holes! Buy a replacement like Ray says. If this happens again plan on replacing your exhaust system, all parts, because if it is clogged this is how car fires occur. Don't take the chance.

If the anti theft light is blinking and you say that everything else fine.. My first thought is that the key is not programmed to the vehicle. The key has a internal chip that must be programmed to vehicle in order to start. Now my other question is, Is the key your using for the vehicle the original key or have you just recently had a key made? Regardless, in order for the yur Tribute to start, the key. Or keys have to be program to vehicle by your neighbor dealership. Thats the reason for your anti theft light is blinking

The crankshaft pulley keyway is to be set to 11 o'clock for TDC of no. one piston. Follow the diagram on page 2B-9 of the Haynes Manual for the camshaft timing marks!

Hello Jason, I would say it does not have enough oil pressure or maybe the oil sender unit is bad. Did you check the oil level?

Hi,this could be a lot of things,I would say to you to first service the car,you need to get these parts done first so you can liminate these from the problem,some times a service with a tune up sorts the problem out,if you cant afford to have it servised then try just changing the spark plugs and air filter,as if the filter is derty when comeing to a stop the fuel air mixture will be wrong so will stall,if spark plugs are worn then when the car comes to a stop the sparkplugs will get wet and stall,hope this was some help.

have you got power to lights if so are they dim and cut out could be simple batt connection or starter motor,listen carefully when you turn key do you hear anything small "click" by any chance if so lift bonnet look for saddle of wires looks like 8/10 coloured wires all grouped together check the push in connectors maybe corroded open them clean them wd40 them and seal from future water getting into them I put plastic bag over the connector and electric tape round end hope this helps
