I do not know much about cars but I once had a similar problem. There is a plug that controls the fuel going to the pump. It is usually housed under the dashboard. Have you checked that? I cannot remember the name of it. Good luck.

Does it have fuel pressure?

You should check your engine's AIR hoses that are connecting to the airbox. sometimes a simple airleak will be enough to alter your idle. Specially when its cold the car will already idle rough ( I know im canadian lol). So go check your air hoses ;)

You probably have a bad temperature sending unit. It is located on the front of the engine and it will have a single wire connector. The wire color will be BLACK/ORANGE.It looks like the picture below

Check the fuse first. If that is ok, check for a bad wire or a loose wire in that wiring harness.

Fortunately this is very easy to check. Just remove an ignition wire from a spark plug, install an ignition test light (cheap at auto parts store), crank the engine and look for flashing. If there is no flashing then it is an ignition problem. Check it and let me know what you find. This will narrow our list of suspects.
