Tensioner pulley stuck
These screws are always corroded to the point that all the spray rust remover will not fix. Replacing the whole tensioner is usually the only solution
Coolant is still leaking
the water seal at the housing is bad. check the oil if it looks like vaseline the motor needs to be rebuilt.
RX-7 1988 does not have
Your Boo switch is open. Look for the brake pedal pivoting point, which is going to be almost under the dash board. The Boo switch is attached to the pedal, you should be able to see the plug and wires going to it. Disconnect the plug and remove the switch from the pedal assembly. Replace it. That should take care of both problems.
My tail light not working
Which light?
One light not working? Check the bulb.
Both tail lights not working? Check the fuses and the bulbs.
Brake light (or lights) not working? Check the bulb, fuses and brake light switch.
Totally no lights in one or both tail light assemblies? Check the plugs on the light assemblies from inside the car. Check the fuses. Check the grounds (might be some under the dash for those lights).
What weight oil and how
i believe 10w30 non syntetic since it use oil by design 41/2 but u need check every week cause some rotary enines use oil rapidly i like puolator oil filters best especially the pure one if u can get it
My rx7 has no
REPLACE THE IGNITION CONTROL MODUAL AND STATOR, THAT SHOULD CORRECT THE PROBLEM
Bad idle 88 Mazda rx7
Check your Idle Control Valve (ICV) and your throttle cable. Occasionally, the throttle cable can have a linkage problem that can cause an odd idle. Also, ensure that all of your filters are clean and unblocked so as to ensure your car can "breath" well.
