ABS motors runs continuos
SEEMS THAT YOUR ACTUAL ABS MOTOR MAY NEED REPLACED, HAVE YOU CHECKED THE FLUID LEVEL?? I HAVE ALSO FOUND IN THE PAST, YOU WILL NEED AN ACTUAL SCAN TOOL THAT WILL WORK JUST FOR THE ABS BRAKE SYSTEMS, AS A REGULAR SCAN TOOL DOES NOT WORK ON ABS BRAKES, IT HAS TO HAVE THE ABS PROGRAM IN THE ACTUAL SCAN TOOL, THEN IT WILL GIVE YOU THE PROPER CODE. YOU MAY TRY AUTOZONE, AS THEY CAN USUALLY SCAN ONE WITH ABS, WITHOUT CHARGING YOU ANY FEES, BUT GET YOU THE CORRECT ERROR CODE JUST FOR THE ABS SYSTEM, THEN YOU WILL KNOW EXACTLY WHAT THE PROBLEM IS......
I have a busted lower radiator hose
Replace the hose and hope the helloo that you haven't damaged the engine from overheating. Check the exhaust for coolant vapor, it will have a sweet smell, like an old ladies bad perfume.
Lock cylinder replacement 00 safari van
Before you replace the cylinder, you might want to try cleaning the cylinder first, its fairly easy and quick.
Use some WD-40 or equivalent and place the spray tube into the tumbler opening were the key would normally go. Make sure you have a rag or something to catch the excess that runs out. Try to flush it out as much as possible.
Then using a can of compressed air, blow the cylinder out, you may need to repeat as necessary. The process should clean debris that is sticking the tumbler.
Give it a try, it should save you some time and money.
Let me know.

2000 Safari, engine/trans stumbles under load. Already replcd...
Other problem areas to check are a clogged catalytic converter and rear axle gear oil level (Astro/Safari axle seals leak causing shuddering under load and eventually seizing). Also GM's have had strange intermitent engine and trans problems that dissapear after replacing the main fuses. Check with a GM dealer for TSB's for your truck.
Poor idle and can smell fuel
Sure this is fuel related and so it points to the fact that there is fuel leak which can reduce the fuel pressure. It can be a faulty gasket which can take in air and produce a air lock.
check on the fuel pump and delivery, if you notice a leak this must be plugged.
I am getting a buc when i move off my mechanic
like a bucking sensation? sounds like a fuel filter problem causing fuel pressure to build in filter until it forces past, causing a surge in fuel pressure which causes vehicle to buck.
How do I change the
Behind the headlights, under the hood, you will see a three wire plug going to the bulb, unplug this. Then there is a usually black plastic ring that locks the bulb to the housing. Simply grab this ring and turn it from left to right as you are looking at the engine. It only needs a third of a turn and it will come off. Now pull bulb out of housing. Pay attention to the orientation of all the parts as you remove them and only do ONE at a time.
