Did the crankshaft pulley separate from the harmonic balancer? No bolts missing? This happens once in a while. Just replace the harmonic balancer assembly (and probably the belt).

i had a problem kinda the same i was told that in the throttle body there is a butterfly mechanism that needs to be cleaned or replaced i cleaned mine very well and is now working fine hope this helps.
