car making loud humming noise from the air intake or air filter when idling ,a/c on and pressing gas petal.
the idle air bypass valve is making noise and resonating through the air inlet the valve needs to be replaced there is also a revised hose to the valve to reduce noise if it hasn't already been replaced

It delays in shifting, check engine light on and the overdrive light keeps blinking or flashing.
Check the wiring on the TCC Transmission Converter Clutch solenoid at the trans and the PCM . It is possible the PCM is bad . BBB Industries online has free wiring diagrams for this model.

High speed wipers don't work and intermittent setting causes the blades to stop in the middle of the windshield. Is this a multi function switch problem?
Yes that is likely a switch problem. Before you buy any parts have a shop confirm my guess.

I have 94'crown vic with rear air ride suspension problems. The back end won't rise. Any help is appreciated.
Start by checking the fuses for the air compressor for the rear suspension. these will be listed in your owners manual. Failing this it could be the compressor motor or wiring to the motor, unless you can hear the compressor working. If the compressor is running but not adjusting the back of the car then you have an air leak in one of the shocks or air lines.
if you find it is a fuse, also listen for the compressor motor running and an air leak, if the system is running constantly to make up for a leak , that may be what blew the fuse.
Hope this helps

stuck odometer - how do I fix- speedometer works fine and cruise control too.
Since everything else is still working, your odometer just crapped out. This is very common on the Vics/ Marquis that utilize the mechanical style odometer. I've had two of them (1989 and 1991 Grand Marquis) where the odometer failed. You will need to remove the odometer from the instrument cluster and either replace it with a new unit (good luck with that) or send it out to be repaired. There's a guy that does this specific type of repair, search the Internets and you'll find him.
Side note: Since it was only the main and not trip odometer that failed on my two Panthers, I learned my lesson the second time around and just kept track of my mileage using my trip odometer and a pen and paper in the glove box. A lot easier than tearing the dash apart at the time. If it happened now on my current car ('94 Vic LX), I would fix it. It's not a really hard repair if you know what you're doing or can find someone who does to give you a hand.

I recently added a T Harness to my car for towing. I traced the problem back from the trailer to the car's factory wiring. A voltmeter with the leads plugged into a tail light socket produces a negative reading when the running lights are turned on. Because of this, my trailer lights don't work properly and the trailer's wiring shows negative voltage on the yellow, green and brown wires simultaneously. The car's lights all work fine, and my trailer has turn signals, hazards, and brake lights, but nothing else.
Thanks Syntax Error for letting us know you figured out the wiring harness was wired incorrectly. It is always a good idea to look up the color wiring standard for the socket and to check the pin positions and what functions .
Sometimes trailers can be wired incorrectly also ?
I wired the licence plate bulb to my brown wire by mistake and this is the brake wire . Took a while for me to figure that one out !

There is a little wrench indicator light on my dash? Can someone tell me what it "indicates?" Thanks
This is from your owners manual, the little wrench means the following:
Electronic throttle control:
Illuminates when the engine has
defaulted to a ’limp-home’ operation.
Report the fault to a dealer at the
earliest opportunity.
U have some kind of serious fault, u need to go to the dealer.

1994 Ford Crown Victoria power front window will not go up or down but I can still hear the motor
if it sounds kind of grinding the regulator is bad, it is cable driven and
whenit goes bad the window wont move but the motor still runs

The domelight and courtesy lights stay on in my 1994 Crown Victoria ALL THE TIME. This just happened one night when they didn't go off. I was wondering if anyone knew where the manual switch would be, I have looked everywhere. I thought maybe the switch got turned on accidentally. If anyone has any ideas why it would be doing this please feel free to throw me ideas. The door ajar sign is not on and i have checked all the doors for sensors but can't locate them either. Maybe they need cleaned? My husband thinks it may be a bad fuse..?
There is a "switch" inside the door lock ...it has small ball at the end that retracts when the door is closed.
You can either replace the switch by removing the door panel and get access to it (follow the wire) ...or you can access it thru outside of door lock with small and long scredriver and free the ball with some lubricant.
Hope this helps
P.S. you have to find which door is it
