Some radios do have a plug in fuse at the rear of the radio and also if its aftermarkek with a removeable face plate then there may be a small reset button on the front of the radio when face is removed. you will see if you look closely it will say reset, good luck.

i,ve never heard of doors opening them self and windows to you might have a haunted car you can make some money off that car jokeing i cant give you advice to how doors open them self never heard of it sorry

with out looking at the car i automatically think of a bad fuel injector of vacuum leak at the intake manifold. i would have these checked and have a scanner connected to the computer to heck the data stream and see if you are storing a soft code.

yes this means the thermostat is stuck closed if replaced this and still doing it take it out take back where bought it tell them malfunctioning need another one

you are trying to open the boot with the valet key(check the flute running down the middle of the key)it will only do door and ignition not the glovebox/boot...you will have to use another of the three keys supplied.or the remotes if the bootlock is set to work with the doors(you can set seperately...)

the blinking ecl might mean a misfiring plug or bad coil (look for engine shake) ... the triangle with a circle means "worry about this" ... you can take your car to many auto parts stores .. they will check your computer (usually free) .. that should narrow down what is causing the fault ... it could be anything that is monitored by the computer ..the oxygen sensor is a common failure also cracked or leaking vacuum hoses have caused all kinds of troubles .. .. even an air leak in the gas cap seal will flag a trouble code .. so the first thing to do is get that diagnostic test done and hope its a cheap part that you can replace yourself ....

Is it a turbo charge engine? If so, there may be a seal bad inside the turbo allowing oil to go out the tailpipe.

1.a grommet on the firewall is missing
2.a grommet under the carpet is missing
3.windscreen been replaced and not fully sealed
4.the diaphram(thin plastic film)behind the door trim is not sealed around the edges.

could be. but you might want to check the brake switch.

get heavy duty spray adhesive

this normally is a safety measure to tell you brake fluid is low

bad battey usualy makes the starter click, try jumping it, once it is running take off the cables if it still runs, the alterantor is good, you can then turn it off and try to restart it, if it still clicks instread of starting replace the battery.

suspect worn brake discs or front tie bar bushes

K let me see Whether this a Turbo or not the Transmission has a temperature sensor ( a real pain in the #@$ to get to) Put you have to check its resistance to see if its reporting the correct temp to the ECU otherwise it will not shift until its hot. Check this for resistance and the wires for continuity.
BUT before you knock yourself out with this make sure thats the correct ATF in this vehicle. If sensor checks out ok and fluid is correct one then you need a rebuild.
With regards to the secondary Air Injection system, this is basically an inspect and replace broken hose detail. leave the inlet hose disconnected and start the engine. Listen and feel for exhaust hissing at the check valves.The check valve(s) will make like a gurgling sound as air is drawn in However , if exhaust is felt or heard replace the valve. hope this works out for ya.

I have a TDI but would think its the same setup. Remove the 4 star nutted screws from wheel arch shroud on both sides. Looking at the front of the VW where the towing eye facia is remove this and undo the 10mm bolt same for the other facia on the opposite side. Then the final 2 bolts are under the headlights. hope this helps
