You will find hidden screws behind things like switch panels and handles and handle covers. after you have remove usually around 4-5 screws/bolts the panel will come off either by lifting it straight up or will have door panel plugs that you will pop straight out.

EZ GO Cart Won't Shut Off

A friend has an EZ Go with starter/generator. Pushing accelerator actuates starter but if you let off accelerator, it keeps attempting to start. Can't seem to find any interrupt mechanism. How is the process interrupted???

Moving linkage, etc has no effect. After a minute or two, it will shut off - else must disconnect battery.

Fuse location/ Cooling fan relay location

ok last nite my radiator fan just stopped running in my 95 golf. Am i correct in my research that there is a single fuse for my fan and if so where is that located? I do not have a fuse diagram for my car and cannot seem to find one online. And secondly if it is not a fuse i suspect the cooling fan relay in which case where can i locate that? I looked on autozone.com and found a picture of it then went lookin around in the engine but couldnt find anything looking similar.
Thanks ^_^

The relay for the cooling fan is located on the left side (north america drivers side) of the rad about half way down or near the top (may vary) there may be two relays or one, replace them both. As for the fuse location it should be under your dash (fuse panel) looks like a big silver fuse similar to a zippo lighter, it will be marked in fine print "engine fan".

Need manual for 1983 to 1988 EZ-GO gas golf cart

Need manual for 1983 to 1988 EZ-GO gas golf cart 244cc. Does anyone have one or know where there is a free manual site. thank you

No FREE manual site. Some sites have drawings for electric wiring but nothing on the engines. Some dealer sites may be willing to help if you are going to buy parts from them. I have service manuals for all carts, but I am a dealer and they will not let me post as an ad. I am sure that my friends in the industry will be more than willing to help, if you call a local shop.

some times when you let the state of charge get too low the meter will not come back up so there for you will have to reset the meter. just unplug the main pos terminal from the meter then plug it back in. if it is a curtis meter or if it says ezgo on it that is the solution.

When I start my 1995 VW Golf CL Diesel (Engine

When I start my 1995 VW Golf CL Diesel (Engine code AAZ) it blows the no 15 (engine electroniks) 10amp fuse. If you renew the fuse the glowplug warning light illuminates when you turn the key. But the engine doesn't start and the fuse blows again, and no glowplug light is visible. The glowplug relay was renewed, then the engine started normally. A test run of about 2 miles was made. A second run was made and as I drove slowly down a back street, (no bumps) the engine cut out. It was the same fuse, which I renewed and successfully drove home. The next day the car would not start, in the same way as described at the beginning of this. (I suspect that the new glowplug relay may have failed again, but have not yet checked.) The suggestion is that something else may be causing the glowplug relay failure, that in turn blows the fuse. Some of the engine wiring particularly the cables connected to the injector pump were in bad condition, but I have now checked or made good those wires. I am prepared to do all the hard work of systematic checking but my Haynes manual is a bit vague about the wiring. For example their diagrams do not show the injection pump at all, yet there are 3 wires connected to it. I now suspect some other component failure. What about the ‘X’ contact relief relay? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

I would hook a 12volt test light across the fuse circuit. This should light the test lamp. Then wiggle the wires around in the engine compartment until the lamp starts blinking due to open and grounded circuit.

I believe you have an intermittent short circuit problem. The glow plugs only have power for about the first 15 minutes of cold engine operation.

Usually you have max glow plug "ON" cycle time, followed by a reduced interval of "ON" time as the engine warms up. Then power is cut to the glow plugs by the computer turing off the relay.

The purpose of the relay is to provide high current flow through heavy wiring to the glow plugs because they use a lot of power. The PCM switiches the relay on and off by grounding a coil in the relay that connets the high current wires together. Good luck.
