I would not consider this normal. I would start by making sure the PCV system is operating correctly.

there is still more to check. like the mass air flow sensor, the whole fuel line cleanout, and if its an auto it does have a camshaft sensor. its located into the transmission.

What the mileage is?

Theft sensor is Part of the Ignition Lock cylinder. On your Sunfire.

If you have problem with the theft system on your car.
First check the proper funtionallity of the Ignition lock cylinder.

it sounds like you body control module is bad. the body control module runs everything inside the car. it is located under the dash right next to the colunm

by flushing the rad, you probably plugged the heater core up. Good to flush the whole system

the led lights malfunction in these units. the instrument panel cluster has to be removed and refurbished by an electronics shop.

The radio has 2 power supply's. One is always on for the clock and radio memory. And the other is switched by the ignition. You need to check fuses. And possibly remove radio to check your power supply. I there is no constant power clock will only work with key on.

I don't list one used on a 2003 Sunfire with a 2.2 engine.
