Torque spec for pressure plate and flywheel on a 2000 Nissan pulsar sss Sr20de

Some Nissans put that relay and 3 others above or on the fuse panel under the dash. Far left one was the Accessory relay, then the Ignition relay, next was the ECCS relay (the ecu relay), and last on the right was the fuel pump relay, if I recall correctly. I'm pretty sure everyone was exact same relay, same part number. I also believe the fuel pump fuse was in that fuse panel.

You need to take it to a good local mechanic who will put it on a fault code reader to wipe off the error codes which would of appeared from the battery going flat, any Good & Decent Mechanic will charge £20-30 for this less than 5 minute job, mines so decent he didn't even charge me for the loan of the code reader to sort my dads car on a Sunday, it's sluggish because it will have throw up a fault code of "multiple misfire" from the battery going flat, I had similar problem with my dad's Kia Sedona, I borrowed my friendly mechanics fault code reader & wiped the fault code off, done the restart again all was fine, hope this helps ????

The very first thing you need to do here is check fuel pressure when the no start occurs, if the pump is original then that is a good possibility that pump is failing to run at times.

Master cylinder could be bad and not allow to shift.What year 90 or 03?

Is it a manual or auto transmission on the car?

The main problem to watch out for on these Rovers is that they are extremely prone to headgasket failure. This Rover uses a K series engine and headgasket problems are almost inevitable at some point during the engines life due to poor design of the cooling system.

You do not say what size the engine is on the model that you are considering but 1.8 engine is particularly troublesome in this respect.

Other things to consider is the fact that Rover have long gone out of business and spare parts and body parts will become more and more difficult to source over the coming years for these cars.

There are a few other known niggles with electrics and immobiliser failures but head gasket is the main thing to watch out for. There is an uprated headgasket that can be fitted which is said to minimise the risk of the problem occurring but even the cost for this as a preventative measure is likely to run upwards of £300 to include labour and fitting.

If someone reached through the window to open the car without using the key, you have to lock it up and open it again with the key and a fully charged battery for it to start.
