Wont start, probably computer is busted
Not necessarily. There is no real "computer", but several solid state circuits that control different functions, like the fuel injection or the ignition. You need to isolate which system is not working and then replace the module for that system. If you have someone with a similar vehicle, try swopping out parts to get yours to go and thus locate the problem.
Engine light FLASHING
Engine light flshing. This is indication of error code got stored in cars computer. You will need to get your car scanned.-----------
You can get your car scanned at car diagnostic center like www.autozone.com or at your local car garage. Once the car is scanned the error code will be detected so as per that you can get the part replaced. At autozone service center its absolutely free to get car scanned.---------------Thank you.
The fuse for the blower motor keeps blowing even
If you replace the fuse and it quickly blows again, then you probably
have an electrical short. Disconnected wires on the exterior of the
blower motor can also cause it stop working, and if your blower motor
gets dirty, it can get clogged or muddy which keeps the fan blades from
spinning.
When you are troubleshooting your blower motor, it is best to start by
running the air conditioning or the heater to see if you can hear the
sound of the fan. If you can hear the fan, it could be clogged or
corroded with dirt. If you do not hear the fan, then you may have a bad
resistor, blown fuse, or a loose wire. Next, you should replace any
blown fuses in your car's fuse panel and try to start the blower motor
again. If another fuse blows right away, you have an electrical short.
If it doesn't blow out and the motor is still silent, then something
else is wrong. In the case where the fuse lasts for a little while as
the fan spins but then the fuse blows again, that usually means you need
to replace the brushes on the motor.
Finally, you can pull the motor
out and visually inspect it for loose wires. If you don't see any and
still want to test, try hooking it up to the battery to see if the motor
will start. If all these tests still find you with a dead blower motor,
it's definitely time to replace it.
Hope this helps.
My cooling fan hasnt come
make sure you have plenty of coolant in the system, there is a fan switch controlled by coolant temp that turns the fan on and off. If you dont have enough coolant it will never turn on. If its full, you may have a bad fan switch.
My cooling fan doesnt come
there is a switch located in the engine that turns on the fan. it may be faulty. the fan motor itself may be faulty. if you run power & ground directly to the fan motor connector it should run. if it doesn't replace it.
I bought a 1997 mazda protege and after having it
You may try to change your transmission fluid and filter. If that doesn't fix the problem you may opt to change your gear for the tranny using a high quality automatic transmission rebuild kits or choose the OEM.
Ihave a 1997 mazda protege and after having it for
.One of the most common causes of a slipping transmission is a low automatic transmission fluid level, also a dirty and/or clogged automatic transmission filter can impede the normal flow of automatic transmission fluid throughout an automatic transmission and cause the transmission to slip. Adequate, unobstructed transmission fluid flow is necessary for the optimal operation and function of an automatic transmission, including the function of the transmission bands and gears, two transmission components that routinely cause transmission slippage.Another cause would be faulty torque converter action and maladjusted transmission band.
Were is the thermostat positioned the radiator fan
First, open your hood and look at your radiator notice both large diameter hoses going into the engine. The one going towards the top is an inlet hose which supplies the system with coolant and also where you will find your thermostat. Usually in a water neck of sorts and generally has 2 bolts to remove and either a composite (paper/cork) or a rubber gasket to ensure the water neck doesn't leak. The other hose is a return hose. Thermostats can be checked by placing them in boiling water but if you suspect yours is faulty its usually cheaper to just replace it. The side with the sensor electrode goes towards the hose side (some people ask). As to your electric fan not working I would check the fuse first to ensure it's getting power and if it is and still not working you may have either a faulty wire or bad relay. You can always use 2 small jumper wires to connect fan directly to battery to see if it is working and the motor is not at fault too. Try these steps and if you need further help or instruction let me know
There is a hose the
It is a heater hose, the best thing to do is take it off, and go to the parts store, they cut it by the foot, and get you a piece to replace it.
