yes, it has. Remove the single screw in the foot well panel on the passenger side. Lift the panel out of the foot well. The filter is exposed in the area the panel was covering. Pull the old filter straight out of the filter compartment. Pull it toward the rear of the 626 to remove it. Install a new filter by reversing the steps. removing an engine is a major undertaking requiring tools , equipment and a good understanding of the process, if you want to do it yourself the best advice i can give is get a workshop manual that will give you step by step instructions , you will then know if you want to tackle the job

What causes the pump not to run when turning on the ignition & click sound of relay then no spark on a Mazda premacy?

The most common source it the high pressure hose that feeds the rack-n-pinion from the pump, or the pump itself. If you follow the large hose from the reservoir it will lead you to the pump. The small metal line leaving the reservoir going to the rack will be the pressure hose. The rack itself is also a good source for a leak. You basically need to get the van up in the air and dry everything off the best you can and look for a source of your fluid loss.

look in the book that came with the van. it is all in there.lol.

They should be under the hood if they were not removed.

I think your saying the speedometer is working then not working as that could be the speedometer cable is broke/damaged and just buy on and install.

sounds like serious internal motor damage...better when taken in for diagnostic test

It could be your fuel pump,when you turn your key just befor your engine turns over you should hear your fuel pump engage,its a very faint electrical purr or buzz and a click its a very quiet sound,so if you listen for it the less background sound the better,and a AAA tow truck driver took a miny sledg hammer and banged around my gas tank under my van and it started up and I was able to get to a garage only to replace the fuel pump.Or you can wait till its dark out-side have someone start the engine while you have the hood up and see if you notice a spark anywhere,could be shorting out,or ive heard open your gas cap and try to start it,but im not sure what that would do.

If you changed the fluid, the level might be too low. Check level when engine is warm and running
