The first thing to do would be change the fuel filter....Normally that is the cause of that....Although it could also be weak or contaminated fuel.....,In need of a tune-up..?...a clutch can start slipping when uphill climbing is demanded ...There are a few things that can cause your problem....I really need to know if the engine has been serviced regularly so I can eliminate certain causes.....Send more info if possible....But my first guess would be the fuel filter.........Thanks.

Couldn't find a diagram but this may help:

Replace hose to gas tank , or thighten the clamps . . Might also have a leaking gas tank , replace .

a 94 i believe uses a ignition module not a ecm these have the exact symptom you describe when starting to go bad eventually it will fail and not start at all if this is it

My first guess would be a faulty fuel pressure regulator or leaking injector.

I'm assuming there is very little back pressure on the peddle, look on the firewall under the hood, there will be a fill cap similar to brake fuild master cylinder, check the levels of the fluids, I believe it it has a hyd. clutch assembly. If so fill it and bleed the system as you would brea

I have the same problem few days ago, and still didn't find any solution. Can any one please help?????

Driver side frame rail right where the door is. It's held in by a large hose clamp. It has 2 white plastic clips . 1 on each hose of the filter. When removing have a container that can hold gas ready because about a pint of gas will come out. Make sure new filter comes with new clips. I don't recommend using old ones. After new one in place turn key on and leave in run position for 20 seconds so filter can gill with fuel before starting and inspect fir leaks.

Have you tried the water pump?
