blue smoke is a sure sign of oil bleeding down from your valve seats (little rubber umbrellas inside the head on each valve) into or on top of the pistons after sitting over night..in most cases a good mechanic can do that repair with the cylinder head still on the car...the stalling is usually open close sensor ..TPS (throttle position sensor ) or spark plugs..both inexpensive easy fixes..GOD BLESS
You mean even with taking the battery off for a few minutes, the light comes back on? That is after all how to erase codes and turn the light off with OBD-1.
Maybe he means the wire from the ecm up to the dash for the CEL signal. Maybe that wire is getting current from another wire in the wiring harness.
Indications are that you have a defective buckle - possibly some liquid or dirt got into the female end of one of your belts and does not allow a good connection when activated. Sometimes you can clean enough to restore function, sometimes a replacement part - scrap yard - has to be installed.
check the line from the reservoir to the transmission for leaks, unfortunately its most likely the slave cylinder in the bell housing. Look under the bell housing of the transmission for any brake fluid at the weep hole as that would be your indicator of the slave cylinder leaking.
Sounds like u have a bad fan for 1,Im sure who disconnected it may have found an expensive problem they didn't want to deal with (electrical, ac compressor etc) Good luck, have it ckd
its along way from the trunk to the back seat. check the back window, and the doors, get a water hose and have someone inside check it for a leak. Water in the trunk is usually caused by bad seals at the tail lights. But water in the trunk usually stays in the trunk and spare tire area. If the car has been wrecked, then who knows.
You don't say whether they stop with the ign.key off. I'll presume they do.
Most wiper circuits feed power to the wiper then all control is done from the earth side.
It would appear the earth (control) wire is shorting to earth thus by-passing the wiper switch. Check the wiring from the wiper to the Switch for a short or corrosion, particularly if there is a multi wire plug on the firewall.
can be shorted pump or bad wires, conn.some cars the wires are so tiny they drop volts with a shorted pumpand dont even blow the fuse, (copper shortage)different body styles move this ground.but is listed in the factory FSM and at alldata.comcheck current , some are 4amps, if near 10 the pump is bad.but do read the fsm for full spec. on that. also different enginesoptions can change all that too.if serious about DIY, get the books.
put gagues on system check to see if system is full of r134a or if refridgerant has leaked out if no r134a in system ,interduce dye into system to find leak. if pleanty of R134a in system check all fuses and relay, if all is good check compressor
This is usually a sign of a electrical short that is causing the battery to drain even while the car is off. To check for and troubleshoot the cause of shorts, you need a multimeter and the electrical schematic for the car, assuming there are no after-market modifications to it. Disconnect the (-) terminal on the battery and check the voltage across the (-) cable that was connected and the battery terminal; if it reads above 0, there is a short. Here is a link to a great video that simplifies the steps.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pjXt7_gusgM
