How to remove my Keys from 2003 envoy they are stuck

Ignition Lock Cylinder Control Actuator If the vehicle is equipped with a floor mounted console gear shifter, it has a ignition lock cylinder control actuator system in the steering column as an added safety feature. The ignition lock cylinder control actuators purpose is to prevent the steering wheel from being locked when the transmission is in gear and the vehicle may still be moving. The column ignition lock system consists of a ignition lock cylinder control acutator, and a park position switch that is located in the A/T shift lock control switch. The ignition lock cylinder control acutator contains a pin that is spring loaded out to mechanically prevent the ignition key cylinder from being turned to the lock position when vehicle transmission is not in the Park position. If vehicle power is lost, and/or the transmission is not in the Park position the operator will not be able to turn the ignition key to the lock position and will not be able to remove the ignition key from the column. GM has had some problems with this , If you have the console shifter there is a micro switch that when put into park a linkage pushes on this micro switch closing the circuit to ignition lock cylinder control actuator allowing you to remove your key ! These linkages fall out causing this problem ,an have electrical wiring problems as well ! I fixed a 2006 Chevy cobalt that had this same problem by getting a used shifter assembly at the auto salvage year ! cost $20.00 . There mite be a access hole under the bottom of the steering column with a release button up inside !

2003 gmc envoy Windows fuse

Are all windows not working ? Two separate circuit breakers left & right . Both in rear fuse box . Fuse Block - Rear Beneath the left rear seat Check for broken wires inside the rubber boot from body to doors. Do you know about electronic control modules ? The power window system consists of the following components: ?€¢ Driver door module (DDM)

?€¢ Passenger door module (PDM)

?€¢ Body control module (BCM)

?€¢ LR power window switch

?€¢ RR power window switch

?€¢ Window up and window down relays in each of the rear passenger window switches

?€¢ Window lockout switch

?€¢ Reversible power window motors in each of the doors (circuit breaker protected)

?€¢ LT DOOR CB 25A (System power for left rear window)

?€¢ RT DOOR CB 25A (System power for right rear window)

The power window system will operate anytime the retained accessory power (RAP) system is active or when the ignition switch is in the ACCY or ON position. The DDM contains 4 power window switches which are integral components. Closing any of the normally open, rocker type switches provides the DDM with a request for power window operation. The switches for the 2 front windows have 3 positions Up, Down and Express Down, while the switches for the rear windows have only 2 positions, Up and Down. Each of these switches and their positions is a direct input into the DDM. Upon receiving a request for power window operation, the DDM, transmits a class 2 message indicating the switch and it's changed position. The PDM contains a single power window switch that is an integral component. Closing of this normally open, rocker switch provides the PDM with a request for the front passenger power window operation. The switch for the front passenger window has 2 positions Up and Down. Each of these switch positions is a direct input to the PDM. The 2 rear passenger doors have there own switches. Each of the switches contain a power window up and down relay. A switch activation alone can control the up and down functions of the rear windows. However the BCM, upon receiving a class 2 message from the DDM, can control the set of relays which will activate the rear window motors. Check

I just replaced thermostat good on anti freeze still running hot

Hows the water flow through the radiator? maybe there are some plugged tubes in it. The impellers on the water pump may have eroded down so the volume of water the pump circulates isn't enough. Look in the radiator with the cap off and the engine running. If bubbles are present one of the heads is warped allowing compression gases from a cylinder to enter the radiator.

Why does my windshiled washer only work on one side

Look under the hood to see if the hoses carrying washer fluid are connected or leaking. Next, see if the nozzle is plugged with dirt that may have gotten into the washer fluid container. Compressed air sometimes unclogs the nozzle.
