Who tested altenator AZ. Bad altenator most likely if battery still charges. Check connector at alt. make sure it is not burned

check the battery cable's.sometimes it will cu road inside the insulation. i have a 91 gmc. it would just die lost all power.i changed battery cables problem solved. hope this helps someone.

Only Ford products use an inertia switch for the fuel system.Your fuel pump gets power from the pump relay.

Your egr.valve may not be functioning good chanse its got carbon build up, or there is no vacume to it, remove it and clean it with carb cleaner, both the valve and the intake.

Check fuse first, if good then check for vacuum leaks, the controls run off of engine vacuum. I will need your feedback after you check those items to be able to assist you futher.

yes a worn cam can cause it but it sounds more like timing off about 5 to 10 degrees

Has the bulb been replaced? Do that first or check the socket for 12 volts at one pin with the lights on.

HelloThe engine and transmission in this cars drive train are fully electronically controlled by a computer called the PCM (Power Train Control Module). Whenever a problem like this occurs the computer stores a record of the problem (there are of course some exceptions to this, like the fuel pump for instance) in the form of a fault code in its memory, to read these fault codes you must have the systems memory scanned with a special tool. Once the fault code(s) are read you then must perform the appropriate diagnostic testing to find and resolve the problem(s) DO NOT REPLACE ANY PARTS UNTIL THE DIAGNOSIS & TESTING IS COMPLETED.

Duh, something burned, probably wiring. Try opening the hood and looking with eyes to see if the problem is obvious.

This could be a number of things but i think that your problem sounds like a vacuum leak or an EGR problem. Try listening for leaks and try un-plugging the EGR solenoid valve one time.
