If you cannot change the gears when the engine is not running, then you probably have an internal transmission problem. Could be input shaft or cluster gear assembly

Sounds to me like you need to take a trip to your local certified mechanic!

Usually, you can loosen the wire spring by moving it to different sides (up/down/left/right). It may be up and then left for example. When you put it back in, you move in the reverse sequence, for example, right and then down.

It may just be the wires are not making contact. Thats why it works when you bang on it.

See the rectangle with the word radiator, it should be there.

Use the drum puller and tap the back side of the drum from with a hammer, and keep tightening the puller. It will come off if you have the security screw's out. The reason it's hard to pull off is BC the brakes are grabbing the drum

Driver door module is where to look also a broken or corroded wire and if you use your key to punch in the door code then the key pad has a hole in it or it just went bad it's not the remote control also check the master door lock switch for corrosion at the pins and the plugs same with the driver door module

The code U1262 point out a communication fault between the vehicle modules and a scanner. It may be best to visit your local dealer to find if one of the vehicles control modules has failed. In some cases this can be as simple as a blown fuse, but there is always a reason for a fuse to blow and a oil sending circuit fail. would need to be tested. P1000 DTC code is a manufacturer specific trouble code. your code reader is not reading or communicating correctly you will need to check the fuses for all the modules and check the connections on the plugs and the units to check the modules to see if they have good contact. also check the main earth from the battery to the shell and make sure the contact is good.

Could be the struts but more likely a worn out torsion bar link. Have them checked for play. They are not expensive.

Low voltage to solenoid. Try cleaning your bat cables ends inside where they attach to battery , if you're sure battery is good. terms should be shiny where they touch battery terms.

When you brought the dog guard on the box it should tell you the make and models of the cars it will fit . Ford won't help you as thay want you to buy from them , what I can say is if the dog guard says it will fit to your car it will fit it without any special tools , if car car make and model are not on the box take it back and find one that fits your car or a universal one that fits most cars good luck colin

Replace the switch on the brake pedal,fit new globes replace fuse.

If you have drum brakes in the back, they need adjusted out. If you didn't replace the drum you need to at least grind down the lip of rust at the edge of it. then adjust them.

The seat belt warning chime is controlled by the central timer module ! You can't just disconnect fuses , other things may stop working ! Safety Belt Warning Indicator Lamp and Chime The safety belt indicator and chime feature is controlled by the CTM. The driver safety belt switch is hardwired to the CTM. If at any time during the first 60 seconds after the ignition switch is placed in position II, if the driver safety belt is sensed as being unfastened, the CTM will process the input, and in turn, output a signal to the CTM through a hardwired circuit. In turn the CTM will output a visual warning to the instrument cluster. If at any time during the first six seconds after the ignition switch is place in position II and the safety belt is not fastened, the safety belt warning chime will sound. you seem to have a switch issue on that door...it may be corroded and need just a cleaning ....you could replace switch ....first i would check to see if switch is getting power ...you do so using an ohm meter at switch ...

soak the screws/bolts, and nuts around the switch. then put in nuetral while blocking wheels so car does not move. then unplug wiring, shift lever nut, then bolts for switch. there is a line on the switch which you must pay attention to, then tighten bolts, plug in wiring, install lever, and then put in park, try it out, then try reverse lamps, the try and start in neutral......jim
