2004 Pontiac Grand Am Questions & Answers
My tail lights and dash lights dont work in my 04 Pontiac Grand am
Tail lights, if both of them are out more than likely that's going to be a fuse. Dash lights possibly have a fuse of the thier own also but I would think they would work off your headlight fuse so you might have a separate issue there but always check the dial that increases the light just in case it got lowered somehow.

Look at fuse #1. It should be a 30 amp fuse. How did you test your battery? How old is your battery? Do you charge your battery yourself? If you battery is old, it may not have enough amperage to turn the starter. What you are looking for is cold cranking amps (CCA). Have your battery tested at any store that sells matters and have then read the CCA. Your batter may indicate 12V on a multimeter but that does not indicate that the CCA is where it should be.
Replacing O2 sensor on 2004 Pontiac Grand Am
Testing fuel pressure with the proper testing equipment would be the best way , not by dribbles out of the fuel system test port . Fuel pressure gauge can be bought for $ 25.00 buck's ! What engine does it have 2.2 -4cylinder or 3.4 l V-6 ? Pull the plug wires from the same coil pack , crank the engine , is there spark ? Fuel pressure should be 52-59 psi) . I can't see that replacing the O2 sensor would cause a no start problem , unless you unhooked something your unaware of . Find out what the fuel pressure is and if it has spark an go from there .
