Can you help me change my headlight assembley? i
1.) Pop the hood to your Nissan. The headlight assemblies are only accessible from the engine compartment.
2.) Clear the area behind the bulb you are replacing. If you are replacing the passenger side bulb, you will need to remove the radiator overflow bottle. The bottle will unhook from its connective tube by pulling it toward the front of the car and up from the ground. If you are replacing the driver's side bulb, you may need to remove the battery. You will do this by unscrewing the positive (red) and negative (black) terminals that connect the battery to the engine, and then lifting the battery straight out of its housing.
3.) Remove the electrical connection on the back of each headlight assembly. This will be a bundle of wires with a wide plug sticking into the back of the assembly.
4.) Unlatch the plastic clip holding the headlight assembly case in place.
5.) Pry the small metal clip holding the bulb using your fingers or a screwdriver. Be careful not to bend, break or damage the clip or the bulb.
6.) Insert the replacement bulb into the headlight socket and reattach the metal clip that holds the bulb in place.
7.) Relatch the plastic clip holding the headlight assembly case in place.
8.) Reconnect the electrical connection to the back of the headlight assembly.
9.) Replace the radiator overflow bottle or the battery, depending on which bulb you replaced.

What is the cause of continual thumping (appears to be coming from back of car) and violently shaking?
Many times, rear tires that are out of round or severely cupped or feathered, or that are out of balance can create this type of issue. My first recommendation would be to have them and the wheels on the rear of the car inspected. There may not seem like there is much wrong visibly if you look at just the tread of the tires, but a good tire tech can spin them up and give you some solutions, and the inspection itself is inexpensive. Hope this helps.

97 Nissan 200sx cranks, won't turn over
If you indeed are getting no spark on any plugs, check your plug wire that runs from the rotor to your ignition coil- the one that doesn't go to the engine. Make sure the internal connections didn't pull out and get crushed back in or fall out. Try one of your other plug wires on it and see if it fires- won't run good but you will see difference and be done troubleshooting. Other than that, you bought the rotor button and and rotor as a set right? Make sure the button metal tip is contacting the cap. If you got the wrong one, it may sit too low for the contacts even if it is long enuff. If you were getting spark, I would just say you got the firing order wrong.

What is the original size tire and rim that came
The tire size depends on which of the three models you have. The base model came with P175/70R13, the SE model came with P175/65R14, and the SE-R came with P195/55R15. Check the sticker on the drivers side door jamb and/or owners manual.

My trunk won't pop open when I lift the trunk release lever
you can adjust the tension by moving one or both bars. on one end it should sit in one of three notches. I have moved mine by hand but you may need a screwdriver or pry bar on some cars. also depending on the car, you may want to put something to protect your rear window. As some have alot of tension and may spring out, and hit the window. Just try different positions till you get your desired effect. And a last note sometimes the bars become bent or really weak from use. And may require to be replaced. If so then they can be ordered from the dealer.
