code p 1760 refers to AT ( automatic transmission)- over run clutch solenoid --voltage low===causes --wiring---clutch solenoid ---TCM it also refers to torque converter clutch solenoid --low voltage with the same possible causes

p1760 is Overrun Clutch Solenoid Valve. Harness or connector, ( the solinoid curcuit is open or shorted ) or the override solinoid clutch is bad. God-Bless! call the dealer on a fix for this. They may be able to give you a readout of how to fix.

It sounds like something is "back feeding" your ignition circuit. In other word there is a source of voltage feed the ignition circuit even with the key off. It could be the ignition switch, but I don't think it's from any road debris. None of that wiring runs under the car. If im working on a vehicle for which I don't have a wiring diagram, I like to narrow these things down by disconnecting electrical components one at a time until the fault goes away. You can pull fuses one at a time, I would start by disconnecting the large gauge wire at the back of the alternator. It is always hot so be careful, if that cures it you need a new alternator. The plug at the ignition switch is pretty hard to get to, but if you were to un plug it and the problem goes away...you get the picture. Hope this helps, best of luck to you ;)

I would replace the air & fuel filters first, add some fuel injector cleaner to tank, service engine service light ON ? have a parts store see if they can pull any codes from ECM. when your filters are good, your sensors may function better, if sensors are old, they may need replaced, the OXYGEN sensor is the best one to replace ASAP. its downstream in your exhaust pipe, either right after it leaves the engine, or under the car @ or before the catalytic converter. it measures the oxygen in the exhaust gas, which sends info for fuel/air adjustments, to computer. see how all this works for you, and go from there.

I too be live first thing to check oxygen sensor, possibly fuel filter . Hope this helps some.

I had a 1991 model and had:
1) Clogged fuel filter. Good pressure at idle, nothing much beyond that. 10 bucks at Pep Boys.
2) The distributor has the crank angle sensors inside its housing. They all use an optical shutter system using infrared LEDs. If this unit is knackered, you will not have any timing information at all. Test it by removing the cap, rotor and cover plate. Disable the ignition coil by removing the power from the coil, or else it could become damaged by high voltage kickback. With a voltmeter, backprobe the connectors (refer to the diagram for pinouts, as one is the 5VDC reference signal). You should see a corresponding change in voltage as the engine is cranked. No change, this means the unit is failed.
3) If you have a coil over plug type ignition system, it is possible that the control unit is failing.
4) If you are certain that it is indeed timing (valve timing), on KA24DE engines, the chain is probably stretched and could have jumped time. This is a common wear item on these cars (KA24E - single overhead cam) had them too, and the chain itself can stretch due to fatigue failure on the joints.
5) Always ensure that ignition timing is correct first before condemning the valvegear. If the aforementioned distributor timing unit is faulty, this will cause numerous drive problems since all timing data is referenced here. Good Luck!!

well if the shifts are all late then they may feel rough.This could be caused by a bad throttle psition sensor and this common on nissians. If the shifts are times correctly and you feel a slide - bang in 2nd then this is usually the beginning of the end.

inspect the pedal area wear it contacts the brake switch, you will need to cram yourself under the dash with a flash light to see. There is probably a small rubber plug missing from the pedal that normally contact the switch plunger. replace plug or make a suitable repair so switch will open when pedal is released. also cold be a broken or loose brake switch

could be fuel filter or injectors. Might be the throttle actuator.

Did you check the fuse itself? Maybe relay.
