Install power steering belt on 1995 Nissan 240
There is a tensioner assembly that consists of a long bolt which passes through a stationary bracket at it's head, and a small steel block near the pulley that it tensions. In this block, perpendicular to the long tension bolt, is a small set screw or lock bolt. it may be a 10mm or 12mm head. This lock bolt must be loosened before adjusting the tensioner, and tightened after. This system is also very oxidation prone, so a thorough soaking with penetrating oil prior to service is highly recommended. Also loosen and oil the pivot bolt for the pulley/pump that the tensioner adjusts. It will probably still take some arm wrestling to get it free.
Front end is shaking starting from the drivers
front end shake could be anything from a knot on a tire to a bad ball joint. i would start with checking to see if i had a tire out of round, and by having the tires balanced.
if this doesnt help, send me a comment, and ill give you further advice. hope it helps.
I need a starter relay for my 1995 nissan quest,
Are you hearing a clicking sound when you try to start your car. I suspect what you are really looking for is a starter solenoid.
A starter solenoid (or starter relay) is the part of an automobile which relays a large electric current to the starter motor, which in turn sets the engine in motion. In many vehicles the solenoid also engages the starter pinion with the ring gear of the engine.
The latch for the hatch will not release. The door will not open.
you need to get in through the trunk and its very accessible from there or try lubricating the lock itself by entering the key hole with a lubricant such as wd-40 and let it work a few hrs or even a few days to allow it to free up then try the key maby even a bit of force on the key without the point of breaking off the key or if all else fails you can knock out the lock but will damage in some cases with a hammer and screwdriver but that would be my last option
My Quest's engine will turn over, but not start.
it may have triggered the fuel shut off switch just from the impact that caused the fender to think it had been in an accident locate the pull tab and pull it to reactivate your gas flow refer to your Manuel as to where it is or call your dealer they will specifically tell you it may be in the glove-box or behind a panel in the trunk on most autos ot is most always accessible

No click from starter at all? Check charge on battery , check voltage at solenoid on starter when trying to start. Could also be faulty ignition switch. Remember this unit is more of a ford product than a Nissan.
Flasher relay
Indicator Flasher
The turn signals and the hazard warning flasher switch (13A350) use the same indicator flasher (13350). The indicator flasher is located behind the instrument panel (04320), to the right of the interior fuse junction panel. When activated, the indicator flasher flashes the appropriate turn signal lamps.
Removal

Press the indicator flasher tab and slide the indicator flasher from the mounting bracket.
-
Disconnect the indicator flasher electrical connector from the wiring harness.
The gear indicator does not work on my 95 Nissan
Hello and thank you for using FixYa!
That indicator is on a cable. Most likely and most common when that doesn't work the plastic holder for the cable has snapped. You can buy a new indicator assembly to correct this. It comes with the cable and a new plastic holder.
Thanks Jay!
